Being at a low level has many hazards. Possibly the most damaging is attacking a low-rank member of a powerful legion. They put out an alert, and suddenly you've been disabled, hacked and raided so badly your plans have taken a serious beating. Maybe add a button to get rid of alerts to cut down on bullying and anti-social gaming? And how about planet alerts? Think of it as a reverse-planet flux. |

Yes i agree. Many times the situation gets resolved within an hour or so. Then several hours later a few more members log on and hit the alerts without realizing everything has already been corrected, thus adding more fuel to the fire. If the player who posted the alert could remove it it would really help things out. Planet alerts are sometimes incorrect as well. A few times members have gotten over zealous after a scan blitz and alerted a planet that belonged to another legion under or NAP, or something very similar. It would be much better to just remove the alert then post a million times not to touch the planet. I would keep the 12 hour timers the same so it couldn't get abused though. |

just suck it up, move on and deal with it. If you cant do not PvP. The Only way someone can alert you is if YOU did something to them first |

No alerting because you did something first is not true. You could be defending yourself by attacking back and then get alerted. Also sometimes things get worked out between the one who alerted and to keep others from continuing to attack on legion alert... I find it reasonable to have a retract button for the person who placed the alert. This would take away mis-communication on the part of the legion that was alerted to the perp. This poll also includes alerts on planets. Sometimes planets are alerted by accident that belong to a legion that has a NAP. To keep those from being attacked by accident I believe a retract button by the person who alerted it is appropriate in this case. Everyone has their own opinion on the subject I am sure. |

We are talking about when we put an alert on someone. Then we beat them down and they make reparations. We would like a way to remove them from the alert list so they dont continue to get beat on. |

I like the idea of letting the player who made the alert being able to cancel or undo the alert. as mentioned before often times things get resolved and the alerted continues to be hit. perhaps a Leader option to remove alerts or even "alert privileges" from players. the old way is to put on the alerted's comm : IGNORE ALERT!!! and hope everyone looks at comm before blasting away. (it rarely fails) some legions don't have the option of making new NAPs all the time nor want to spend 20 E doing it for a day. |
