 Ideas for a new trap

(posted this earlier under the lab ideas) i was thinking while npc farming and it got to me, what are the odds of someone attacking me while i was waiting to repair. so i thought about ways to stop them from doing so and i came up with the idea of another trap that could be usefull to those that like to npc farm. i have yet to come up with a name for it but what it does is if your hull is below 50% and you are attacked the trap will fully recharge your shields and maybe your hull if it doesnt seem to unbalanced. feel free to comment or give ides for a name or changes. :)

it could be a defensive trap instead of a offensive.

that might be cool if when they FIRST attack you it recharges your hull and shields. otherwise it would be extremely annoying... and also 50% seems a bit high. maybe 10% would be better, considering its 10% that forces you to not be able to attack anymore... thats the only time when ur truely vulnerable.

a defensive trap isn't a trap, a trap is something that hurts or thwarts an enemy attack or advance. but good idea though, except you could use shield restores and repair nanodrones.

yeah i thought if i called it a trap it would help give you an idea of how it would work and i agree 10% would be a better activating point for it. but it is like a failsafe that could be used if you didnt have any repair nanodrones or shield rechargers.

unfortunately, if youre like me you use them faster than you get them... often im stuck waiting 2-3 minutes to repair, and unless im hacking people i dont use time manips... so this would be useful to a point.

then like a trap, if not set off within a set amount of time, it will wear off.

yes i was thinking that a timer for it would have to be short other wise people would be able to stock pile them and have an advantage over pvp so maybe give it the same timer as a shield amplifier that way you should be done npcing and able to repair yourself by the time it has expired.
