we have a couple of repeatable missions and they are very useful, the temporal flux orb mission, the thetacron mission, the starchart purger mission, and some others that I may not know of.

I was thinking of some ideas for repeatable missions

I'm not really sure what to call it but it would be a mission that gives you an Exotic Matter Warhead, it would cost about 700 Exotic Matter, 75 energy and 30 Tech Parts each step and would cost around 25 energy to fire them. Everyone knows what a warhead is for (I hope), and when you fire it it will do an automatic 2k damage to damage to a ship. we have artifacts that debuff the enemy, buff yourself, traps that hinder your enemy (or help them if you see it a certain way), but we have no artifacts that you can use that do direct damage to an enemy (that I know of).

Vekno's ideas
Planet Cracking- takes 300 energy per step, requires 20 steps, rewards 1000-5000 mineral points, chance for 100-500 bonus mineral points on each step. (approx 10% of the time)

Bounty Hunter- takes 500 energy per step, requires 55 steps, rewards location of new NPC from former disbanded faction (zolazin, octafari, stryll, prejor, etc.) will reward new modules, artifacts, and buildings. 15-20 person drop, ranks 350+

i think we need more repeatable missions, and this is a cool idea, but we really need repeatables that only need energy. especially one with a decent xp reward ratio and a good artifact reward.

that would be an interesting artifact but what would stop someone from idk using like 12 of them and disabling someone with out using any energy and still get the benifits of the disable. there would have to be limits to how many can be used on a ship and a requirement to fire it say 30 energy per use. but overall i like the idea of it. +1 :)

I just realized I didn't put in an energy requirement, haahaaha. I changed the original post. if you have an idea for repeatable missions let me know and I'll edit the my main post and I will give you credit.

is that 300 energy total or 300 per step?

300 per step. we dont have enough missions that require large amounts of energy. theres cts, but thats it. we need some more, and better rewarding ones.

its also 500 per step for the bounty hunter mission

how about something that requiers 150 energy per step, 20-30 steps, 350exp per step, and on completion you get a time manlipulater.

we could also have a mission takes 200 energy 50 complex parts per step, 30 steps, 450exp per step, and on completion you get that Planet Name Contract artifact

refine it a bit more and I'll add it to the main post. give specifics, make certain what you think it should cost.

aah ok.

Planetary Defense Initiative
Costs: 1 Grav Whip Trap, 175 Energy, 175 Exotic Matter per step
Steps to Completion: 10
Rewards: Proximity Exotic Matter Mine, 350 exp per step, a bonus 200 energy upon completion
Artifact Effect - Damages a planetary attacker for 8,000 damage, prevents the enemy from repairing for 15 minutes due to strange effects from the exotic matter (includes repair nanodrones, tri matrix emblems and shield restorers)
(reason why it's so high is because who wants their planets taken?)

I've suggested an upgraded Grav-Whip Trap before, but most people were against it because they can just repair. With how little damage this does and how much it costs, nobody would do this.

it's not like the numbers can't be changed or an added effect where they can't repair for a set amount of time due to some unknown effects caused by the exotic matter. I'll change some of the stuff around.

I was thinking and what if there was a high level repeatable mission that when completed gave 1 production point for the legion base. It would require about 300 energy per step, and maybe a drop from an npc that was created specifically for the mission, some exotic matter (around 500 or so) and 50 completions a step. because currently the only way to increase base production is through resource points that you get from base ranking up or by members staying in a legion for a week or more. but if that member leaves the 40% bonus they gave is taken away and when they come back and are back for a day they are allowed to get some of the cut, thus taking away more from everyone (even if it is just a little bit).
