so far as I've seen, not many people are happy with the production caps as they are, the research cap is 150 * level, the artifact cap is 1000 * number of planets, and the mining cap is 500 * number of planets, my artifacts production rarely caps out but my research and mining caps and I lose production a bit too often for my tastes, especially my research. 150 * level is not enough for a lot of people, those who are lucky and have found natural dysons or have their made dyson and exotic will have a lot higher of a production rate than most people. Also, I have read that there was a time when terraformers and Quasi-Spacial Expanders were dropped and pulled from the draw like candy, so I'm sure there are plenty of people who have planets over the 15x cap from before the time that the cap was put in place. I was not around before the cap so I'm sure my production is a lot lower than the people who have such planets. And I've read that Kaos' production caps at around 4 hours. I could buy the structures with GP but I can't afford to buy that much GP and those won't help my cap for too long and I don't want someone to scan the planet(s) that I would put them on and then take them and then flux it. There is the new blueprint that gives a production cap boost, but right now I'd rather have the cargo space, and then there's the fact we don't have that blueprint and it will take a long time to get it at the rate the lab gives out blueprints. So what I'm proposing is a rare npc, as rare as a Troop Carrier, if not rarer, which would drop an artifact that give a passive production cap boost, it would have 3 different versions, one for each resource, and all would be at a 33% drop so that your caps wouldn't be too uneven. I already posted something like this on Vekno's thread viewtopic.php?f=6&t=9055 I can see how this would go good with his new faction, but dan is a busy guy and I don't think he has a whole lot of time to put in a new faction, if he did it would be kind of cool if they were introduced through the weekly missions. But who knows when he'd have the time to do that. So I was thinking this npc should just be added to the Terran Outsiders. Standard/Rare T. O. Cargo Hauler Used to transport vital resources for the Terran Outsiders, these ships are notoriously difficult to kill due to advanced shielding and top of the line defensive technology. Drops: Underground Data Bank, Underground Weapons Locker, Underground Ore Vault Each one would increase the resource cap by 500 and would increase the passive attack/defense of the planet by 200. the cap per planet would be 4 of each resource, this would prevent people from limitlessly putting them on their made dysons and exotics without worry of losing the storage space and not have to defend it. |

+1 i like this idea, my incomes hit the cap quite a bit so it would be very useful. |

Suprisingly as it seems, alot of people unlike me , kalos and sgtlynch, have low production rates. Many hit there production caps in 24 hours instead of 8-12 hours. |

9 hours for my research 16 hours for my minerals 26 hours for my artifacts some of those are just barely at the last hour. I could use the buildings suggested but then again so can many people. |

leave the caps in place, those who wish this only wish to be able to not log on and play, they just change the wording... it isnt broke dont fix it |

I honestly can't log on more than once a day during the week and I lose mining and research every day. I would love a cap increase. |

Rember the basic idea is still a rare NPC like the ones that drop TF and QSE. Something when used right helps. |
