It seems that max tech cloak makes everyone visible even with zolazin bonus, when scan > cloak. Therefore, for staying off btab cloak appears to not help at all. It doesnt seem to be a % chance or anything like that, but if you boost scan you immediately see anyone with less cloak that could be on btab normally.

Thus, if you just want to avoid being seen, might as well run no cloak and save 3B upkeep. Just saying. Doesn't seem to increase crit hack frequency or anything on you either.

i know whatcha mean, i did mention it but nobody said anything. It's still needed for hacking though.

but though, you need cloak to hack in the first place, all you need is the minimum cloak to hack.

not to mention at higher levels they can just remove all of your cloak anyways after finding you with positron clouders.

I should clarify, I find no use in hacking. This is purely a question of remaining invisible or not.

What? You run the purger mission for that. All the high ranks I see are doing it for badges. The RP certainly isn't that good anymore.

i said "some people".... which after a while it's easier to critical hack or ask for someone to share scans than to scan for yourself
