I tried to enter "The UFP" and it was changed to "The Ufp" after legion creation. Why? Who was the genius developer who came up with that idea? Besides that, why can't my legion just be UFP. Why is the legion name contrained and kept so short? I wanted to call it "The United Federation of Planets", but that was too long? Why does it take so much energy just to change legion info?? Either I made a typo or an apostrophe was stripped somehow and now it's gonna cost all this energy to add an apostrophe!?

Suggestions for legion names:
- Allow all caps or somehow recognize acronyms
- Increase max length
- Possibly decrease min length

i've seen many legions put spaces between initialized names... like W T F

have you tried "United Federation of Planets" without the "the"?

i think the legion name is a 21 chaaracter limit. it also dosnt recognize symbols, same as the ship comms. i wish the limit would get extended to 40, but i dont think this is high enough priority, no matter how simple it may or may not be. i think dan is more concerned with fixing existing glitches in the game more than anything else atm...

after sampling a few names, it appears the limit is 25 characters

I think "United Fed of Planets" would make more sense if you're dropping characters.

Yes, we originally didnt want a bunch of legion names written in all caps, but of course, this prevents acronyms... If you wouldn't mind sending us an in-game support request, we can adjust the name for you.
