Changing a Null Fuse to an active enemy artifact that will remove 1 (random) trap effect from a ship would be cool.
+1 to this idea, maybe an infinitely repeatable mission that takes 5 Null Fuses per trap removal? (and it wouldn't tell you if / which trap was removed)
