What about a lab for level 4 bases that costs extremely high in exotic matter and some tech parts that allows the legion to create its Legion Planet?
To create the planet, it will have requirements like the legion bases, but much more to create it. This could be an entirely new and separate research tier for this.
Phase 1: Creation
Creating a legion planet...
Energy Cost: 10,000
Exotic Matter: 25,000
After Phase 1:
Planet is created...
Barren (Started, can change)
Very Tiny
No production at all.
To make it larger:
Costs large amounts energy, Massive quantities of exotic matter, Minor CTP | Larger requirements after each phase
To increase mining production:
Costs variable amounts of minerals, Mineral Points | Larger requirements after each phase
To increase artifact production:
Costs variable amounts of Artifact Points, variable artifacts from the artifact draw | Larger requirements after each phase
To increase research production:
Costs variable amounts of Research Points | Greatly increases requirements after each phase
To change the type of planet:
Each type requires different requirements, such as Gas for RP, Toxic and Volcanic for minerals/MP, Oceanic/Icy for AP, Desert for both MP and AP, Metallic for large amounts of MP and RP, Exotic for massive amounts of Exotic Matter, etc.
Limits could include the size of the planet as Mega Colossal, richness of production of 50x Mega Rich, no terraformers or quasi expanders. Legion Planet can have a name.
Production would be shared evenly to all members of the legion or those who have contributed to the planet.
Scanning the planet and conquering could come later but that would just put more work for Dan so this part of scanning and conquering could come later.
