Some new planets could be added to the game if Dan has the time to do so. I'm tired of scanning the same planets over and over again. :evil: (Except the good-awesome planets :D )

Some ideas:

Lightning Planet
Very Rare

Good in resources of artifacts and research. Minerals could be good but could power down facilities...

Mining: Extremely Sparse-Average
Artifact: Rich-Ultra Rich
Research: Extremely Abundant-Extremely Rich

How it would look:

Frozen Metallic Planet (Suggest name, please)
Extremely Rare

Just like an Icy planet and a Metallic planet, but something happened to make these collide with each other. Good in everything.

Mining: Abundant-Extremely Rich
Artifact: Rich-Ultra Rich
Research: Very Rich-Mega Rich

Looks:

Purger Planet
Extremely Rare

Purges itself back and forth using special cores. Produces Star Chart Purgers as a 4th production. The higher the production of Star Chart Purgers are almost Mythical status, meaning near impossible to find. This also applies to larger sizes of the planet.

Mining: Mega Rich-2x Mega Rich
Artifact: Very Rich-5x Mega Rich
Research: Ultra Rich-3x Mega Rich
(New!) Star Chart Purger: Average-Rich

The 4th production will produce Star Chart Purgers every 5 days. Special space, like the Legion Base, will be under the construction space. These spaces will hold Star Chart Purgers. A chart for how much production and special space:

*Very Tiny to Average are the most common sizes. Larger than Average are almost Mythical Status to find.
*Average to Abundant are the most common productions. Richer than Abundant are almost Mythical Status to find.
*Cannot use any Quasi-Expanders. Terraformers will work up to 15x Mega Rich.

Very Tiny: 5 Special Size
Tiny: 10 Special Size
Very Small: 15 Special Size
Small: 20 Special Size
Average: 25 Special Size
Large: 30 Special Size
Very Large: 35 Special Size
Massive: 40 Special Size
Very Massive: 45 Special Size

Production / 5 Star Chart Purgers
Average - 1 Star Chart Purger / 5 days
Abundant - 1.25 Star Chart Purgers / 5 days (Meaning 5 SCP / 20 days)
Very Abundant - 1.5 Star Chart Purgers / 5 days (Meaning 3 SCP / 10 days)
Extremely Abundant - 1.75 Star Chart Purgers / 5 days (Meaning 7 SCP / 20 days)
Rich - 2 Star Chart Purgers / 5 days

Derelict World
- A Massive planet full of relics
- Megarich Artifact

Omicron Planet
- Free to colonise
- 10000 Passive Cloak
- Explodes when attacked thus destroying the planet (purged from db)
- Megarich everything
- Take advantage of it while you scanned it

Ghost Planet - Rare
- A type of Terra
- Once inhabited by civilisation that are now dead
- This has been suggested lots, but i though "Ghost Planet" would be a good name.

Superdense Planet - Rare
- Re-mentioning this cuase i think its good (from XXxEccoxXx)
- Large or Smaller
- Megarich Mining+
- No Artifact, Abundant Research

Nemesis Planet - Mythical
- A type of Dyson world
- Special Structures can be built on this planet unlimited.
- Can only be fluxed once every 3 months
- 24x Megarich +
- Always Colossal

Carbon Planet - Common
- Rich+ Mining
- Size Varies
- Can be transformed to a Terron planet via a octafari hydroshifter

Terron Planet - Uncommon
- Mantle and Crust is mostly made of Carbon
- Extremely Rich + Mining
- Usually Average+

Cyclonic Planet - Uncommon
- A type of Gas planet
- Its atmosphere is one massive solar storm
- Abundant+ Research only
- Always Very Massive

Lattice Planet - Uncommon
- Has a odd Structural Atmosphere Restricting local Ship and object movement
- Crimson Cluster missiles, Quantum Biovaporisers Can't be used on this planets
- Cannot be Guarded.
- Very Large +
- Very Abundant + All

Chron Planet - Extremely Rare
- A very unusual Tranparent planet, making it difficult to find details of planet.
- Structures, Population, Planet Defence, Attack, Artifact Effects, Resources Cannot be seen unless you colonised/invaded it
- Passive 800 Cloak
- Very Abundant + Resources

Kalvium Planet . Rare
- Immune to Artifacts
- Ultrarich Mining
- Very Large or smaller

Phased Planet . Rare
- Passive 1000 Cloak
- A Type of Aphotic planet that exists in another Dimension.
- Very Rich Research
- Size Varies

Nova Planet . Extremely Rare
- Passive Defence and Attack
- Like Gas Giants, Certain Structures cannot be built on this planet
- Always Very Massive or larger
- Only Research and Mining available

Aegis Planet . Rare
- +30% Defence
- A Type of Terra
- Large+
- Rich+ in Research and Artifact

Aeon Planet . Extremely Rare
- +50% Cloak
- A Type of Exotic planet
- Size Varies
- Great resources

Crimson Planet . Rare
- It's Red
- Passive Attack
- Usually Very Large and above
- Extremely Abundant All

Haven Planet . Rare
- +30% Population
- Very Large+
- A type of Terra

Magnite Planet . Rare
- A type of Metal Planet
- Always Very Massive
- Mining and Research

Thetacron Planet . Uncommon
- A Type of Toxic planet
- Very Rich Mining

Paradox Planet. Extremely Rare
- A Very Strange planet
- Invasion Timer is shortened to 1 hour on these planets. Seperate Timer from the standard 24 hour timer
- Artifacts and Trap Effects Last 3 times as long
- Traps last twice as long (eg- 1 Week to 2 Weeks )
- Megarich All

Meridian Planet . Mythical
- A Type of Dyson
- Always Mega Collosal
- Takes up 3 planet slots
- 90x Megarich All
- Cloaking Structures can't be built on this world.
- Automatically Fluxed at NYE
- Can't be fluxed conventionally
- You can only have one Meridian Planet at a time.

Requiem Planet - Extremely Rare
- A type of Exotic World
- Dull, Dark Green Coloured
- Large+

Twilight Planet - Rare
- A Old Dying World
- Dark Blue
- Megarich Artifact and Research
- Large or smaller

Obisidian Planet - Uncommon
- Type of Volcanic
- Partially Crystal Red
- Extremely Rich + Mining
- Average +

Turanic Planet - Rare
- A Type of Desert

Cybernetic Planet - Rare
- A NPC Planet
- Matched Passive Attack, Defence and Population
- Once conquered
- Can't be Alerted
- Immune to Engineered Virus
- Invasion Timer for this planet is one hour. This invasion timer is seperate from the standard 24 hour invasion timer.

Meridian Planet
- A type of Dyson
- Acts like Exotica, do mission for location
- It's Called Dysonia

Tachyon Planet
- Spins faster than the speed of Light

My ideas:

Molten Exotic Matter Planet:
Extremely Rare

Mining: Rich-2x Mega Rich

Research: Extremely Rich-5x Mega Rich

Artifact: Extremely sparse

Size: tiny-very massive

Passive Bonus: Due to melted exotic matter you'll get a 20% bonus to research a and a hourly gain of 5-20 exotic matter (depends on planet size tiny-very small 5 matter, small-average 10 matter, large-very large 15 matter Massive- very massive 20 matter



Artificial Planet:
Extremely Rare

Mining: Depends

Research: Depends

Artifact: Depends

Passive: Mimics a planet

Size: depends

Control: Pay energy to pick your planet rarity-20 energy for common, 50 energy for uncommon, 100 energy for rare, 200 energy for extremely rare

Note: Cant pay energy to choose anything else ONLY the planet rarity

Nuclear Biohazard Planet:
Extremely rare

mining: average

Research: very Rich

Artifact: Rich

size: large-massive

passive: Invasion attack bonus 500

Type of Metallic
A metallic where the surface has broken, scrambling signals.
Must be transformed from a metallic.
Transformer gives:
2k Cloak
1k Attack
+0 Size
+2 Richness (all)

I had an idea not that long ago, to make a Tundra world, and if you thaw it out it would make a terra world or a gaia world, that would be kinda a cool mix.

Interesting idea with purger planet, in general: a planet where you can collect an artifact or other "bonus" every 24h which makes it unique and fun, and not just another resource planet. This is one way to introduce more special resources into the game for a mission or other purpose like a module or blueprint or lab tech.

Question for Dan: Will there be any new types of planet in the future? Especially since we went into Kronyn Space which was a different region of space. So perfect chance to find a new type of planet.

here's an idea: you guys remeber The Aeon Moon mission? well this is what the mission descrpition of it says-

A rumor has been passing our channels that the mythical Aeon Moon has appeared briefly around the Jebexis planet. The moon sits in a permanent state of temporal flux, and has not been seen prior in 95 years. Travel there and take readings immediately.


so i was thinking why not have a planet with that effect that is discovered while searching the sector with the Aevax.

its just an idea and im sure there have been similar ideas in the past but i think this will help understand it.

yea, i mean, maybe not introduce these new planets now since were leaving the area for some sort of catalysm. not sure what exactly yet. but maybe later down the road maybe at a lvl or even tech requirment where we would be able to do a mission where our hull, def and sheilds would have to be strong enough to deflect the negative effects of aevex

well after 10 billion years for a new born star goes by it will explode making a indestructible black whole and a star dies at white dwarf stage which is 7.5 billion years after star birth. So 2.5 billion years untill the party happens ;) aka i hate white dwarfs. it means THE END IS NEAR

Size-varies
when attacked-it steals 1/4 of damage done to planet, and returns it to population. Also does half damage back to attacker. Only 2 defensive structures may be added. 1 defensive artifact structure may be added. 2 attack structures may be added.
