Just a thought, would it be at all feasible for artifacts to count towards your % for elite NPCs? Of course, they'd be scaled (like saboteurs being most valuable). |

do you mean like: have higher chance of getting Saboteur because you have more NPC kills than anything else?? cos that would be EPIC!! |

No, sorry, didn't explain well. I meant your contribution to killing an elite NPC being based on damage AND artifacts used against it. |

oh... yes that would also be epic!! dont know weather the programing could calculate a total damage done over 100% tho..... |

As a thought, the game could take the AP used to pull the artifact (or a similar total) and add it to your damage and the boss's max health (for calculation purposes only). That would incorporate it into the current system. |

what about unlockable race abilities?? Genetarr -50% NPC attack not exactly an artifact, comes a lot easier. also Dark void, which is an NPC drop? neither have AP values ![]() |

-1 Your % contribution comes from damage done to the boss or NPC, as in damage to it's hull or shields.....using an artifact doesn't damage shields or hull, except for one of the T.O. mission artifacts, Tarlis Code, which does I think 10,000 shield damage to Terran Order ships ONLY, not usable on any other boss or NPC faction. Having artifacts count towards your % contribution only means that you have to do less damage to the NPC to get to the same lock %, leaving others who want to hit it having to do more damage for the same results. |

It says "removes all shields on MOST T.O. vessels because it is designed to be used on the Tarlis Command Ships, which spawn after each completion of a round of 'The Inside Job'. When used on T.O. bosses and elites, it just removes the shields from the ship, it doesn't count at all towards anybodies lock %, simply put, when used on a Stalar Command Center (As an example) it would reduce the total shields to 80,000 but your lock % damage would stay the same as it would be if the station still had full shields. |
