I notice a fair amount of legion hoping in the forums. But this thread will downplay those players who just stick with a single legion and grow from a small ship to a larger ship.

Ive been in 3 legions myself - first was just a joke, had a kinda inactive ldr with a bunch of alts in it, The next I started my own...and it sucked trying to recruit all the time. I finally landed at We Dont Exist.

delta surfers 10/10 (if i had a choice betwee leading the dysonians or these guy id choose them every time

terrinian armada 9/10 stayed with them multiple times there good allies and one of the most active legions

intergalactic destroyers 8/10 another ally of ours leaderboard legion heavy NPCers

I can't comment for the other vote caster, but I don't believe in giving 10/10's. I'm fairly stingy with the way I score anything. Although I've never been there, you could take me to The Unknown, PotC or Dysos and I'd probably give them somewhere around the same scores I gave you.

I've only ever been in two legions. I've never visited another legion and I'm not into trading, so...

The legion I started in is more or less dead now. They were okay when I was new to the game and needed to be something other than legion-less, but it was too quiet (both in terms of comm chatter and in terms of help/advice from the higher-ranked members); and 2/3 leaders disappeared from the game without word about a month after I joined, leaving the legion in the hands of the highest-ranked member who had never wanted a leadership role. Looking back, I wonder than I stayed there as long as I did.

I'm currently in Delta Surfers (6 months and counting), and have no desire to leave even for a short time. I'll go with 8.5/10: no group can be perfect, but I think DS has the right mix of comm chatter, help/advice, base battles, NPCs, freedom to do our own thing (within reason), and legion support. Or at least, it's "right" for me for where I am in the game now.
