delta surfers is now on and off in the top 50! we have an almost full CTlab and we zero anybody who touches a planet. we do a lot of base battles regularly and npcs were a fun lighthearted legion and i hope you give us a try.

Q/A

1. I must be allowed immediate access to any FB groups/chats that a regular new member would be eligible. ill give you access upon joining
2. I must be treated the same as any new member; not considered a visitor to any great degree we'll put you to work in the cookie mines upon your arrival then!
3. I must be allowed to stay for anywhere up to two weeks. Feel free to kick me after that. youll be wanting to stay a whole lot longer then 2 weeks
4. Must have at least 10 members higher than me in rank. - This one is a little hazy and I may join legions who do not meet this requirement. we have ranks ranging from 30 through rank 800! (our rank limit is 100 unless youre a reset) so youl have plenty of help while also being able to help others

I'll add Trigon Vanguard to the list. Unfortunately I know people in Delta Surfers who I'd rather not spend 5 minutes around, let along 10 days. I'm sure the rest of you guys are great but I have history.

TDS wasn't the place for me, so I'm in The Dysonians now.

Unfortunately, I'd pretty much given up on my tour after visiting Red Dwarf. They were the best legion so far, in my personal opinion, and the rest didn't shape up from my point of view; they may certainly be someone else's cup of tea. I shan't be visiting Trigon Vanguard because I've pretty much already made my decision and I've hopped through three legions in the time I normally spend in one.

Legions of note:

We Don't Exist - Might've been a bad time for me to join as people were pushing to rank up the base and I found little aid with NPCs. My notes, however, started with "Lots of fun so far". There were also quite a few members higher than me in rank, which I was keen to have.

The Terranian Armada - I think these guys were one of the most talkative legions I visited and they were welcoming and certainly included me from the words "Malevolentia has joined The Terranian Armada". I believe I am still official legion dunce? Perhaps I lost that title upon leaving the legion.

Galaxy Wombats - Now these guys weren't technically on my tour, but I was with them for almost a year prior to beginning it. A great team who are chatty and active. I've had upset with Wombats since leaving them, however it has mostly stemmed from their sense of loyalty to one-another and the protectiveness(?) of Mombat; surely a good thing for anybody who's there! A great legion who I would advise anybody to join.

My decision:

Right... Some people may be wondering why I chose Red Dwarf. I'll look at the things I was looking for first. I said in my first post that I had certain pre-requisites... These weren't the full truth of the matter. I wanted to be treated like a legion-mate from the start because it's the only way I could've made an educated decision. With such a limited time window, I wouldn't want to waste 7 days of my 10 waiting on loyalty just to join the legion chat and I personally feel it's a bit of a stupid policy as it's only going to drive away potential legion-mates who don't want the lonely wait all alone in legion comm. Red Dwarf only use the legion comm, so this was not a problem. What I was looking for most in a legion was for them to be talkative and supportive. I found both of these things in Red Dwarf when I was staying there. This, along side with the fact that there are 15 members higher than me in rank here, meant they were pretty much the best deal for me.

Thank you to everybody who's had me over the last couple of months, I appreciate that you've let me come to your legion.

He's also the tallest person here :-)

Lovely to have you back Mal - now that we've wooed you it's your turn to clean the galley. There's 54 curry plates and about 100 Dwarven Ale tankards we kept just for you :-)
