They didn't just judge you by rank stats or ship stats. It's what you can do, quite frankly by the looks of it, nothing. These high ranks would have no use of a rank 14 (no offence). You won't be able to keep up with the high rank due to HIGH rank difference. You have a long way to go, you also have potential (well everyone does). I'm not speaking for the EotS legion but I'm speaking from my own experiences, I've been apart of some high ranked legions as a low rank PvPer. I had to leave (my choice) few legions due to me having to solo elites (energy drainer) by myself, and also feeling alone due to no one being on my rank range. It'll be hard to keep up with the rank 500-1.8k Players on EotS, I say you stay on a legion that will suit your rank range. Not to mention most of the base battles they will have in the future will be Lv5+. |

To be a tad clearer on how we recruit and pick people. We see your name, then we mention it in our group to find out who knows you. They tell us about you and we decide if you are a good fit for joining us. If no one knows you we investigate further until we know your play-style, personality and history. We are not picking people based off rank and stats. I don't see us recruiting anyone below 300 except for maybe a few extreme cases such as very good friends. You will see people here below rank 300, they are traders. |

Allow me to be more clear - As I do appreciate the attention given, and interest in joining (by all players), I have stated "established" players as a requirement. Though the word "established" can tend to be somewhat ambiguous, I think some cases are more obvious than others. I will accept certain players that may be significantly below rk 500 - just not THAT far below. If there is concern, you can send a PM so I can clarify privately as to whether or not you will be accepted without being "harsh". Also, when posting/PM'ing stats, please include your rank, approximate time playing, and style of play. Thank you - |

Post subject: | Re: Empire of the Sun |
I have to say, joining Empire of the Sun has been the best decision I could have made! I came from a legion where I was 1 of 2 players in my rank range, with the rest over 100 ranks below me, and had been feeling for a long time that the game was missing something for me. - Elites/bosses never had enough people on the list, so a few of us often had to do far more than our %, - Some players would often just fire a few shots to get on the reward list, then no lock their share, causing constant frustration. - I was also missing having regular Fabrication planets and Queens etc which seemed to appear once a month or so. - We could not disable bases over level 4, which was becoming frustrating as I wanted to get into higher level base attacks. - High level bosses (Warp Stations, Sha'din Hyperports..) were almost never present, I was lacking modules I wanted! - I had slowed my ranking to not get too much further ahead of the others, which meant I was starting to get a bit bored, as I am a very active player When the invite to join EotS came through it only needed a bit of thought. Yes, it's a shame to say good bye to my old legion, which I have been a member of since starting to play the game, having worked my way through the ranks to leader. Have made some great friendships there. However, the excitement is back in my game. Benefits of EotS: - regular bosses / elites. All of which get disabled quickly with a full reward list. Every player fully does their share - very active comm, constant chatting and friendship, joking about more than just game stuff - part of a great, motivated and active team - chance to be around higher ranking players, and up my game! There are more benefits, but this post would just get longer and longer! lol If you are thinking about it, and meet the requirements, go for it! send a request to join up You won't regret it |

electrics... ive seen several of your posts. and i mean this in the most polite and helpful manner i can say it. but your addressing people who have played for years acting as if you have nothing left to learn. more is learned by listening to advice then by telling opinions. If your still interested or aspire to joining perhaps you would be better off reapplying in 500 or so ranks. there are many training legions out there that would happily teach you the ropes. if you like i can suggest a few. |

You are new to this game. You have so much to learn. You should respect those that have played for years and built ships and stats that you can't fathom... |
