So I liked the idea from the invisible storm to have a small PvP competition within the legion. Nam is also doing it so he will be hitting a bit(sorry if he hits you) not as much. rules are easy, every disable=2 points, raid=1, and hack=1. tThe competition will last one week and any suggestions or ideas on improving it? the old stats are on the left new are on the right. (kill,raid,hack). I almost forgot to mention the prizes:1st-planet flux or 2 storage towers, 2nd- storage tower, 3rd-storage tower. Anyone else feel like doing this for their legion?

You should throw in some CTP or something with the second place prize, so it's not the same as the third place one.

Nam get's nothing since he has been excluded but creates a stronger legion meaning more bases and ctp . I'm out as well but though it would be a good idea for other players. Nam is very generous... things that I have recieved from nam: plasma, toxic, 3 storage towers, and a few billion credits. this week he went easy on us and we only had to pay 4 days of upkeep. person who donated 40B got a nice toxic.

it's not a forced donation. just one of the many weekly beat the nam. if we don't suceed he would have the sunday distribution which he has only achieved once. pretty easy quests since he buys our ctp for 20 ku a piece and we normally do about 12-16 level 4's per week. everyweek he normally pays the upkeep of roughly 100B by himself

Just to clear up confusion, they have a "Beat the Nam" competition, where Namalak comes up with some sort of goal for the rest of the Legion. If they meet that goal, then Sundays have equal Base distribution; if they do not meet that goal, then Sundays distribution is based on contribution. Namalak built the Base himself, so he would get all of the production that day.

The Dark Sides been running an olympics too, but with six categories, ranking, pvp, raids, hacks, npcs and medal points, the winner in each section gets a fully uplifted toxic, second place gets 3 storages and 3rd place gets a 20 pack of repair nano's, nanite caps, shield amps, shield rests, drannik sabs, TM's

how long does your contest last? we may do it another time with a few improvements

i'm finishing it up pretty much 36 hours from now then have a rest week and run a new event, haven't decided which one yet, i've been keeping an eye out on what events other people run and seeing how i can adapt them to my legion.

sometimes the hardest part is to get the whole team to pariticpate, there are always lurkers who dont want to take part but just stop in and claim their points, play around a bit then dissapear again, they barely manage to stay active and piss me off quite a bit.

thats why i use big prizes, to try and lure everybody into participating, and then keep an eye on stats and the lowest acheiver gets warned then kicked

definitely the carrot and stick approach
