Welcome to GL! Unfortunately starting a legion is a pretty intensive task if you want to have 50 members. You would need to be actively spamming comms to get people to join. A much better option is to join one of the many training legions available. That would give you a great jump on the game. If you cannot leave because you upgraded the base, you can send a game report to Dan and he will disband it for you.

Your best bet is to join a well established legion, make some friends, learn the game, grow your ship. Once you have established yourself, then decide if starting a legion is something you want to do. You may decide that being a part of an established group fits you better.

Please, join an established legion. Starting your own legion at your rank (35) is NOT a good idea.
You will fall far behind in every aspect of the game and will become just another useless player.

Please do NOT recruit new players into your legion where they too will fall far behind in every aspect of the game. You will all just get weak, beat up and eventually quit playing.

New players, please stop making your own legions. You just end up screwing yourself, everyone you recruit and the game as a whole..
