I can recommend Ancient Untouchables or Gentry of Infinity, both legions are supported by Lords of Infinity and we have been soloing level 6 and higher bases for over a year now.

Gentry was going to be my port of call, but I'm going to try TA and their bg with EoTS and GP. For one thing I now have a lot more energy and attack then when I was last in a legion that had the same structure. I'd like to see how far I've come. And I was getting a fair few crates anyway. Just got frustrating failing the raids one too many times after putting in quite a bit of work (relatively speaking!)

Seems like being a scanning legion is a lot better than milking glass bases. Given the rapid increase in silver badges as the base level goes up, and the increased takedown power a scanning legion gains over solo/small battle group takedowns, that shouldn't come as a surprise.

... for silvers. but we also have alot of slow.rankers at AU who only pop in once in awhile, so that has an impact on the number of silvers garnered, especially when we do not fill all the slots before the base gets dropped.

for base crates, the evidence so far indicates that milking glass bases is much better. from Tree's info on the scanning legion, they have had a total of 1 guaranteed base crate so far, while AU has had 44. sure, many of the other lower.positioned members will still manage to get a raid in, but they have to get lucky twice ... the first roll for the raid chance ... the second for the crystal. the guaranteed base rate only has to get lucky on the 2d roll.

with the cuniculus ally ability ... getting a guaranteed base raid is *way* more important to me than the growing pile of silvers. [Silver Badges: 91; Barrier Nexus (Uses Left: 10)]. others may have different priorities.

Dysonians take down a lot of 5 and 6 glass. Our base crate fail rate is pretty low. Believe it or not, 5's do give out crystals. Sometimes we get lucky and scan a lvl 7 glass.

At your rank, joining a feeder or even one of the big legions, you are going to consistently be in the low end and may not succeed at crates often enough. Join a legion around your size so you can grow and obtain the crates, NPC's and missions necessary for your growth and success in this game.

Only 10 people of the scanning legion on the first base, and the second there are 21 members. With 2 legions joining them on a level 6 base that has 50 slots, how many of the scanning legion's members didn't even get a silver because they were bumped?

On top of it how many of them are getting crates? THAT is more interesting to me then silvers.

I agree. We take down mostly glass 5s, 6s, and theres always that one glass 7 that pops up. Yes we do have a battle group, but for the most part we just do bases on our own. With everyone who wants to do bases getting in the top 25 slots or so, nearly everyone is guaranteed a crate. As a matter of fact, I just got an enumeration crystal from a level 5 base crate too.

Also important to me at my rank is ranking my anubix, and well, getting 1-2 silvers isn't gonna do anything, and on top of it getting that 1 silver is going to take my entire energy bar and likely a good portion of my repair nanodrones and shield restorers. And for what, a failed raid? A battle group setting, where you are also taking down glasses as well, is more productive and more beneficial for lower ranks then a feeder legion, which basically exploits the game for the greater good of the legions being fed, along with the couple of higher ranks in the feeder legions.

Senatorhung, you are unfairly comparing base crate count. Yes the scan legions have far fewer 100% raid chances but they also aren't hitting level 5 bases or lower. They are hitting a lot more 7s than you seem to do. Are you aware that the drop rate for crystals is much higher when you get a colossal crate? 1 colossal crate has a better chance to give you a crystal than 3 massive crates. Large crates have an even lower drop rate. I'm also surprised you discard the silver gains. Do you not care about clamping your base?

SirStinker, there are no bumped people on the lists I posted. Are you not understanding the lists? Scan legions have people around his rank for all the other aspects of the game. Your posts seem to me that you don't understand what a scan legion is or how it works.


Xmoonxlitxwalkx, I asked early on about ranking anubix and the scan legions said they weren't having issues ranking them. We even went so far as to let some people rank their anubix in our legion if they were someone who was really helpful in the scanning process. Had someone rank their anubix in less than 3 weeks of loyalty. You also choose to use the word exploit. I see no directions from Dan on how to do bases and I don't presume to know what he intended. You can say our scan legions are exploiting our strength to kill bases in under 2 hours but then I can say your legion exploits the weakness of dead legions to kill bases.



When it comes to silvers gained, activity is more important however the scan legions have the advantage either the frequent 7s and even 8s offer large sums of silvers.

For base crates. Soloing glass 5s and 6s give more crates total.
Scan legions get more colossal crates which have a much better crystal yield.
