just following up the topic in the issues sub.forum where i raised the possibility that the new 2014 set of legion missions might have average rank requirements before joining the pool of legion missions accessible to a legion. if there ARE average rank requirements for some of these legion missions, that might be something that we should be using to differentiate legions in recruitment posts ...

so, if you have seen one of these legions and your legion has a lower average rank than the one listed below, please post the legion mission you saw, and your legion average rank and i will update this post.

We just got Encounter at Nabai a few hours ago at The Fallen and we skipped it. Our current average rank is 356 atm, so it should have been very close to that when we picked the mission up.

Stargate Operations has had The Cerulean Conclave, Carjean: The Heist and the The Ardyne Sabotage LMs a few times before. Our average rank is 581.

Purgatory SA currently has Carjean: The Heist at A.Rank of 448.
I've seen Mawks and Ardyne too around with the same A.Rank

we've had cerulean conclave a few times at academy too.

we have seen them all a few times in Galactic Paladins
exept The Hunt for Mawks, witch we have only had one time so far
but that doesnt realy help a lot as oure average rank is 1200+

must say I'm a bit supriced that the minimum rank for some of these isn't higher
we are doing Encounter at Nabai atm, and personaly I wouldnt recomend anyone below rank 600 trying to do task 1 on that mission

it's not a ship strength thing, but all about spawn rate..
before you get to rank 601+ finding 30 uncommon NPC's can be quite hard, due to the high number of difrent NPC's you have acces to at low rank

We at Subspace Destroyers just had Arena of Darmos Games. We are usually below rank 400 and I am pretty sure we had it below rank 400. Right now we have average rank of 428 from officer rotation with Subspace Alpha.

Subspace Destroyers have Ardyne Sabotage legion mission on right now. We have average rank of 417 now.

I will have to start paying attention. We got Carjean not long ago, and our average rank has always been below 400 (currently 385).

Cerulean Conclave requires at least one active Aerlen in legion.

I base this with no actual facts available, other than that EotS has not had this event once since it was brought in, and we have not had any Aerlen either.

think you might be right, but it will be very hard to confirm
in GP whe have had that mission (The Cerulean Conclave) 5 times so far, so looks like a common mission to get for us
so I would expect you (EotS) to get it atleast 1 or 2 time during the same time if it was posible for you to get it

atm we have 2 Aerlen and we did The Cerulean Conclave/Roathir: Diplomatic Resolution a few days ago, but dont have any data on how many Aerlens we had the other 4 times we got this mission

re-arranged the missions in the OP in ascending legion average rank order.

are there any level 5 legions out there with the mission control centre to see if we can get some further confirmation ?

we just kicked out a bunch of inactives and AU's average rank is now over 400 so we'll see if that opens up more choices for us.

and we just got the Carjean legion mission for the first time ... so that lends credence to the theory that there is a legion average rank requirement for some of the 2d round legion missions.

I do think you might need 1 loyal Aerlen. Hopefully some legion can disprove that.

Darmos and Ardyne, got it around 401-404 average rank, without having it before with sub rank 400.

Lords has not had it once.

Doubt it is rank though, as we have that covered

not sure if the new trainees affect legion average rank ... but if they do .. please note if you get a legion mission at a lower value for legion average rank than the ones listed in the original post.

We(Im On You) got Hunt for Mawks (Twice) at an an average rank of 444, no trainees at the time. (they do count toward average rank)
