planet is a massive 5x gaia planet, that originally only had about 30k def. and around 4k pop..
that player is over rank 800

and probes returned that the player who did all that definatly had enough attack to be able to take the planet prior to its lowerd defenses, so it was just ther bad luck that i was onine, had they not tried to use so many different things, and just gone for it after using the bio vaps they likely would have had a new planet.

Legions who claim no drama are always run by a bunch of drama queens, the people who say they don't want drama are always people that bring drama. Running off to make a no drama legion is a joke.

Legions without rules are also a joke. Rules aren't a bad thing. Bad leaders who make poor rules are bad leaders.

Is it a coincidence that leaders in this legion came from the rube legion?
Take a good look at your abilities as a leader if you can't even go a few weeks without running off from yet another legion in pursuit of the no drama land.

Going to venture a guess here on the supposition that leaders don't spend their time downing others or berating other opinions or actions. They look towards the betterment of their own people and then others. Further on the same limb, while a leader should spend time and interest in foreign affairs, ultimately they should mind their own business and focus on their own flock and core values.

If memory serves, there have been a bevy of threads wherein it was said that person x was not in legion y, and thus didn't know what they were talking about. This could be a nice example for introspection on that precept.

okay, now i'm curious. Spock for Captain's OP indicated that your legion was open to those "sick of rules."

could you outline a few of the kinds of rules enforced by other legions that you would consider to be worthy of being sick over ? that might help potential applicants figure out if they might fit better in your legion than the one they are currently in.

certainly senator, mainly rules like legion mission requirements or npc shares you must make a lock no matter what......we prefer to look at the situation and a persons capabilities. if they have the energy to help on such things fine if not fine. we don't make demands on folks to perform all we ask is you respect your legionmates and don't steal or cheat each other thats pretty much it for rules here.

And people that continue to bash other people on the forums in an unwarranted matter is not a joke? BTW, how many EOTS players have been banned in recent months. Maybe you should just take a look at your own legion before criticizing others.

No need for Tree to reply on this one.. Here comes:

Yes its true many ppl have been banned from EotS and some have quit too .. but this years banning we look like flowers compared to some other legions..

Either way we have had banns and quits the past couple of years but somehow we still manage to be in the num 1 spot .. So over all we must be doing something right in the leadership department..

Without casting accolade or rebuke upon EOTS leadership, being #1 does not necessarily mean you have good leaders. Just like an all star sports team can make a mediocre coach look good. To me, many of the EOTS recruits were former leaders/officer of other legions who then joined the ALPHA squad. Not sure if you have lots of experienced players that you have to be a great administrator...many things will sort themselves out. Also, offering the shares, planets, and so forth that EOTS does, in theory even if someone thought the leadership was bad, they might stay for the rewards...at least for a period of time.

So, whilst I am not disputing EOTS MIGHT have good leadership, i do not believe your statement to be cold hard evidence of such. Somewhat off topic from the thread and the ciritism being placed. Courtesy at the least to most people means not being rude when you can avoid it, and certainly not going out of your way to be hateful. The commentary made in this and other threads was both of the above mentioned things.

It is chic to be cavalier from time to time, but couture also should involve style and tact.

My comment was never intended to cause any ill-will, but what gives a guy the power to bash on a new legion with unproven banter? Good lord, just let them recruit their own legion. It may not be the way that you run your legion, but your not in their legion.

Now lets get back to recruiting any free spirits out there
