Thats not a great move from dasfish tbh, if a legions healthy enough (say leaderboard), poaching is poor sport. However, it still remains far less damaging than what was suggested by galaxis, the draining of all the strong active leadership from apollos arrow to a new top 50% legion and the forced resettlement of all weaker and less active members to a new legion of death which would be sure to fail due to it being, by definition as described by galaxis, a legion designed to train up players then move them on to blues brothers once their strong enough, leaving only weaker, newer players remaining who benefit most from having stronger players to help with good planet alerts, basing, advice ect. I think honestly its just naivity on the part of galaxis to think this would work out well for apollos arrow and the resettled members rather than malice, if you've never been at the crunch end of one of these situations its easy to see why it may make sense to have a legion for low ranks and one for higher ranks. But again as someone who lead one of these self defined training legions I can say with the upmost certainty it is not good for the legion taking the offer up. Sister legions, yes, close co-operation between like-minded legions, yes, creation of a stratified super legion, no.


you should get another dock, you cant attract any new players in to grow the legion further until someone leaves otherwise, which weakens the legion overall. If your going to hit rank 8 at chuhn the hit to base production will only be for a couple of weeks, better to grow the active membership of the legion than grab a few extra prisoners.

Our diverse Leadership reflects our committment to inclusive decision-making by exposing our general membership to complex GL issues that can be worked through in a non-judgemental, team environment.

Given the odd set of circumstances that prompted Galaxis attempted to force a merger, then declare war, we have no doubt that a forced merger was meant to unilaterally benefit Blues Bros at the expense of Apollos Arrow. Galaxis doesn't understand Apollos Arrow or the plight of training legions. Even worse, we feel his general lack of self-awareness exposes why Blues Bros has struggled with membership for the past two years. Leeram at Apollos Arrow offers one of many tutorials which could benefit Blues Bros if they would cease hostilities long enough to allow us to help them. However, they continue to stand in their own way.

We still don't know what attracted Galaxis to attempt a forced merge with Apollos Arrow.

Our short-term goal is completion to Level 8 during Chuhn and expand our membership to 60 players. We work daily to enhance our relationships with partner legions. We collaborate far and wide. However, we have no intention of merging with any other legion.

Edit Note: Apollos Arrow leadership is using Blues Bros declared war as a training exercise for lower-ranked players in our legion who wish to participate. Our Leadership continues to actively engage as well.
