If those bids were in Kur instead of CTP they might be reasonable. Unless this is some sort of CTP laundering scheme...

During the time that they were released, they were commonly sold for 200CTP.

Good Lord... Mine's unshared still if anyone wants to pay me an outrageous sum of CTP for a pointless artifact...

Edit: Come to think of it, my Octafari Holo Disguise is unshared too. Let the bidding commence...

I acquired 8 shares in the two weeks after their appearance. I was outbid quite a few times as well, and the winning bids were on the order of 15 to 50 CTP. I still hold to the idea that those prices were ridiculously high for a laugh, but they pale in comparison to the flippancy of dropping 100+ CTP on a share. I never did see any go for 100+ CTP (and I was hunting for any one sale for a while), so I'm going to relegate such claims to the "extraordinary claims" category (which for me would "require extraordinary evidence" before I'd even think that it really happened regularly). That being said, *even* if dozens sold for hundreds of CTP each back then, the size of a group engaged in rash behavior does not suddenly make that behavior reasonable.
