I posted this on the Trading Post as well, mostly because of the time that I put into getting this thing done, haha. So, because I have way too much time, and not many CTPs, on my hands, I figured that I would take a couple of hours and put together a Spreadsheet that lays out mathematically generated prices for Artifact Planets based on Size and Abundance. I will use this Spreadsheet in my future requests when looking to buy and sell Artifact Planets, and hopefully some of the more experienced members on here may find it nifty as well. So, here's the link to the Document, and the last page (with the colorful green spreadsheet) has the prices: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4uKPYiljlLILVBNZU1WaFB0UEU/edit?usp=sharingIf anybody's any bit interested in the math, feel free to ask!

CTP? If so you are way way way out. A MC 22x Planet sells for 30k CTP easy. Prices for planets cannot be quantified in so much as giving them a fixed price range. Supply determines the demand, and when the demand is high and the supply is low, prices rocket.

The thing is, there are a number of bench marks that, if passed, significantly increase the price of a planet because of the increasing difficulty. As such, price increase over size and abundance is not linear. This is from the supply perspective. Furthermore, it is less wasteful to protect one awesome planet over two lesser planet. If, for example, optimal defense require 20 spaces, it is a mere 29% investment on a VM and a "tiny" 21% on a Big Moon MC. On the other hand, it would be whopping and disabling 44.4% on a average planet. Therefore, if you wish to protect your planets, it is more economical to protect larger planets. Furthermore, awesome goodies are limited and % bonus stack. This means focusing all your good stuff on a few planet is better than spreading them out. And focusing and stacking stuff takes space. This further increases the value of larger planet, because planet smaller than C doesn't stack very well(you certainly don't want to put your 24s here). So from the demand perspective, awesomeness have an increasing value as it become better. As such, bench marks are established by the difficulty of construct. Anything VL 15x or below is considered "standard" and will more or less go for linear price increase according to size and production. However, anything bigger will get more expensive. Now, size is less of a issue up to C thanks to plasma, but due to the fact that plasma is harder to build to 15(and further more difficult for over 15 compared to other transformations), C will still be somewhat extra costing. And MC, being only possible in one way(well, there is another, rift, but that can't be sold so...) will be much more expensive. as for production, 16, 17x, 20x, 21x, 22x are all limits. the first 2 are achieved by crystal/sequencer/boon OR transformations, so they are worth more than increases under 15x but not much. As 20x requires a decent amount of crystal/sequence/boon, those are worth a bit more. 21, 22 are usually serious projects that requires quite a bit of commitment and are therefore worth much more. And finally, when both size and production reach the top, they will produce extra value for each other. Also, you need to take transfused effect into consideration. a MC 22x with rings will likely sell more than a crappy(non-icy or worse, no expandable) planet with rings AND a MC 22x w/o transfusion combined. Why? Because transfuser is random. People would reluctant to take the dice roll on a awesome planet but would love to have a safe perfection. This is why most MC builders will transfuse before doing any other part of the uplift(I know I did) because they don't want to take the risk. So while transfuse effect might be the same, chances are the better the planet, the more the effect will be worth(if it is a good effect. for small moon, the opposite might be true as it'd be a disappointment)

Since this is posted in the Trading Post already, and is in no way a Suggestion, closing the thread.
