Post subject:  Looking for terraformer uplift to 15x
Looking for someone to help me uplift a planet of mine to 15x as quickly as possible. Its a large gas planet with rings, but its going to be my first rift sooner or later. Have ctp and EM to pay for it. Post here or PM me with offers.

For what it's worth, you're better off saving your Rifts for a much much better planet.

A gas, which can only become a plasma before becoming a rift, does not increase artifact production. So, it's maximum artifact production pre-rift is 20x. You'd then be looking at a 15/20/17, which would rift into a 30/35/32. That's not bad, but if you can do better, then why waste a rift on it?

An icy, on the other hand, can become an oceanic and the mass surface melter increases all resources by 2. So, assuming nothing special and just terraformers and enumeration crystals, you can have a 17/22/17 oceanic, which would rift into a 32/37/32, which is better.

If you want to maximize your rifts though, save them for dysons. Yea, it'll take a while, but you'll be significantly better off. At the very least, save two for dysons and hand build the best planet you can for the other.

Consider this ... you're purchasing an uplift. That means you are putting your planet in the hands of another. That means you can also purchase other uplifters.

1. Start with an Icy planet (with rings or large moons). Size doesn't matter since rifting pushes it to mega colossal regardless of previous size.

2. Terraform to 15/15/15

3. Buy data cubes to get research to 20+, now at 15/15/20+

4. Use enumeration crystals or buy trellith resequencers to get artifact to 20, now at 15/20/20+

5. Buy trellith resequencers to get mining to 20, now at 20/20/20+

6. Mass surface melt to 22/22/22+

7. Rift to 37/37/37+


That is better than the gas you're planning, which with plasma and e.crystals would optimistically be 15/20/17 pre-rift and 30/35/32 post rift.

Plasmas are good to build with if you're just going to terraform art to 15 and plasma to colossal size. They're not the optimal if you're going to spend a rift on it though.

Vette is right but i would use a gaia seed or a crystallzer as the rift will become MC anyway so no point wasting a melter on it personally i wouldn't bother making either mineral or research to 20x either as you wont be building it for either of those productions, also if using on a gaia crystallzer or melter put a set of spires on the planet before you rift :)

Barrens and Toxics also work but they are a bit harder to maximize.

Although, toxics will give you a 33, 37, 32 without an extra artifact to bump the mining.

Don't forget production from special structures that provide more than just artifact. If you boost everything you can while you can, then in the end you'll end up ahead even if it cost a bit more coin.

Thank you guys for the advice, i appreciate it. The main reason i planned to use that gas planet was because it has rings, wouldn't have to find or buy a better planet with rings or moons. I completely forgot making it plasma doesn't increase arti, that's a bummer. Headed back to the drawing board :lol:
