Ok, I'll make an offer, but i'm not going to be nice about it because of what you want, I can abandon 3 planets. I get a VERY good arti shipment daily from my legion, and there is almost always easy bases at my legion. So giving that up for about 2 weeks is going to cost you. maybe i'll charge 2K for me to come to you. GP costs money, so i'll overprice my going for 800 every abandon. and then i'll sell you toxics for about 1300. Don't like my offer? Maybe you should come to me and i'll be a lot cheaper? But yeah, if you decide to buy the 3 toxics owned by me. I'll charge you 3900 for the 3 toxics (expensive, right?), 2K for ICTY, and 2400 for abandon. so thats 3900 + 2000 + 2400 = 8300CTP for 3 Toxic planets Great deal! Its almost a steal (for me) Sorry if I sound like a jerk, i'm just trying to get a point across. (And yes, I do purge my planets) |

The point is, maxed toxics(I mean standard 16x VL) aren't worth much, they aren't even worth as much as abandonment+travel cost. If you really want to buy toxics, here's how you SHOULD do it. 1. buy it in bulk, travel, one way or another, is expensive. The bigger the bulk, the less cost per planet on travel. And chances are, if you are buying toxic, you are weaker than the seller and your legion is worse than the seller's(not always, but usually), so the cost of travel is higher for the seller such that it is very likely to be more economical for you to be the one traveling. 2. buy the uplift, not the toxic. Specifically, you should be supplying the base planets (unoccupied, VL and even abundance, so they can be made 16x) Alert them, have the other guy uplift it, then whoever traveled, at the end of the entire bulk, leave. Then you can start invading the defenseless planets. Other than the time factor, cost of invasion isn't that big--if you still need to buy toxics anyway(for anyone whose invasion cost over colonization cost is a big deal, they should be able to max their own toxics). It'd be certainly less than the cost of 5 GP(which is 1/3 of an arti tower--about 250 CTP--4-5k KU or 6-8B CR) At 90% chance on defenseless planets, it won't take long at all, chances are you are going to only see 1-2 failures and extremely unlikely to lose a red shirt. So no, toxic is not expensive at all(well, not for me anyway XD). Problem is, the method you choose have a HUGE side cost, more than the planet itself. Now, if you are looking for truly maxed toxic(20x VM rings) for whatever reason, those'd be expensive(and stupid) and the "side costs" won't be much compared to the price of the planet itself. It's completely beyond me, however, why anyone would want to buy such a thing....(arti toxic, sure, one of the best way to make a rift w/o a dyson. But mining? wtf?) PS: toxic is probably best bought from players around rank 1k. Higher ranked player need to pay more for colonization of the planet in the process, and that's gonna go onto you. And lower players can't generate as many max toxics so either the bulk end up being smaller, increasing the travel cost per planet or they might charge more for the purifiers themselves as they are a bit more rare for them. So keep this in mind, the two part of the cost--colonization and purifier. You want medium-rare sellers XD |
