Since you don't mention it, it is vital that someone at least asks....

It has another scanner, so you can sell it with the artifacts on the planet?

What do you mean by "another scanner"? Does a flux probe show another scan? Yes, one other, the inactive player that I took it from. I didn't flux it, because I knew that there were artifacts that provided a bonus if the planet had other scans. I'll throw in a Planet Flux with the deal, too, if that is an issue.

Nope. What he means is that the only way to get a planet to another player WITH its structures is to have a 2nd scanner who alerts it while they are in the legion with the buyer (and you are away).

If it is you and an inactive, you can flux it (the arties that give a bonus do so when placed only).

Since it doesn't appear you have a friend who has it on scan, you will have to abandon it (destroying everything on it) to get it to your buyer.

How will you be selling this planet? I presume you'll be abandoning it? < That will cost you 5 Galaxy Points btw, you do realize that?

Also, abandoning destroys all planet artifacts, so you're essentially selling a planet as follows;

That's it. Anything else you posted will be lost. :)

Lastly, before you mention it, No, you cannot join a legion, alert, then leave for them to invade. That does not work.

So in short, this planet is going to serve you so much better by not actually selling it, versus the CTP you'll actually get from the sale.

It cannot be invaded, because you own the planet.

Since you own the planet, the only way you can sell it, is to abandon the planet.


Abandoning will cost you 5 Galaxy Points & abandoning will destroy all the structures.

Just to clarify, because I do not know the answer, can't somebody come to my legion, join, I alert, they leave, invade and conquer the planet? I given free uplifts before and that always worked, but I didn't populate the planets with structures.

Kirk, earlier, when I said "invade," I meant "conquer." Pardon my lack of familiarity with the terms.
