how about a base trap that hacks the top 5 attackers and adds it to the next production shipment ?

ooh ooh... i know what'd really be a good countermeasure...
a 20% chance that the next attack will trigger a (silent) tactical bypass.... limit to 5 triggers

what about a trap that once the base got to 10% hull it would trigger a power surge and regenerates the shields to full charge or a trap that once the hull gets to 10% the base becomes unattackable for 30min like a calming amplifer but not as long.

This i like Go crazier, "Re-routed weapon sensors". Changes attacking ships attack power to any other ship that has attacked this 'round'. Person affected/attacking is unaware of the effect and other ships silently get killed without notifications of where the attacks are coming from. Fake readings are giving to the first making them believe theyre still attacking the base. Kinda kill your own guys effect
