i completed the zolazin chain a loooooooong time ago, and i was looking at my special space in my cargo i can still see the listing for it here, even though it's zero
i was wondering if there will come a time when you need them again ?
some new zolazin npc that drops 'em would be cool, but i wonder what you would need them for ? maybe we could trade them for special zolazin artifacts , similar to the badge system, but these would be race specific, meaning you could only use them if you were zolazin
then i got to thinking, why not do it for each race ? when you disable a ship of a certain race, you would get a part for that race......when you get, say 50 inergon debris, you could trade them in for a 5% energy cube usable only by inergon, or maybe trade 50 vygoid debris for a 5% boost to research gains for a day only usable by a vygoid,......the things we could do are endless .....
make these artifacts sharable so we can trade them to those who need them for more interaction between players
thoughts ?

Interesting. It would definately add to pvp. But that would mean I would be targeted for Genetarr debris Awesome idea!

I'm fine with all the other "new" debris
But no to zolazin debris alternative use. The reason is simple, some ppl are keeping the task around for the sole purpose of spawning those weak low set lvl NPC, so they can get lvled up faster and stuff. Let's not give more possible bonus for those ppl.

I like the idea of getting racial badges, but I don't see the point in limiting who can use them. Like, I don't get the logic of only humans being able to use what they get from disabling humans.
I do really like the idea though. Could add a mission chain for each race to unlock the racial badges.
50 racial badges each Aerlen: 5% bonus to ship def, 1 hour Human: 5% bonus to xp, 15 min Inergon: 5% energy refill Konqul: 5% bonus to att, 30 min Sillix: I have no clue. Adding temp decks wouldn't work I think. Hull maybe? Vygoid: +10% rp, 4 hours
I also don't like the idea of unlockable races giving badges, as some of their abilities would be more problematic that Sillix to convert to a temp item. Taltherian for example.

Nah, none of the rest are permanent. I think it works better as a one-time buff or consumable.

Disabling people gives you "their race" debris. Every X debris you get lets you buy a specific, one-off consumable, related to that race. these could be tiered too. eg: Sillixx: +1-3 decks (massive cost, a quasi extender) Konqul: +5 to basic attack (higher cost, passive planet attack) Kronyn: grants 12 hour's research (more costly, planet research +1)

-1. If this were to happen then you would also need new uses for drannik archive chips, kalvium ore, and rsl anti cryptexs. These were meant for a single mission and should stay that way.

That was not the designed intention of the NPC and is in fact in some ways a cheap trick, a cheat even. Those ppl should NOT be rewarded further by having the debris. And that is why they shouldn't be reused.

You could sell your left over debris to other players as well. I know occasionally someone is looking to buy them.
