just thought it would be cool to have a section under the legion tab for leaders to post the rules of engagement for the legion, also to list other regulations for operations while a member of the legion

if it's right there for all to see , then there will be no "i didn't know", or "nobody told me" and it will make it easier for all to obey the edicts of the commander

facebook groups are free..... many legions have them...
you can go put your regulations there...

(some legions even have their own forums on other servers...)

we have a facebook group, but not all members are able to join due to crappy computers, or just refuse to join up

i don't want to lay down an ultimatum that they must join the group, that would make some ppl quit, and i'm just not a tyrant like that

Yes Facebook is free and many legions(like mine) have them. But I still hate how this game has to rely on FB for simple things as posting the rules of a legion.

if they refuse to join, simply kick them out of the legion. Facebook groups work well enough.

aye.. after all, you have to access facebook to log into your GL account anyway...

like i said, i'm not a tyrant......some ppl wish to remain anonymous......who am i to question that ? as long as they are active players and obey the rules .... hence the rules page for the legion........

You know what I hate? The argument that, "Just create a FB Group" It is completely Logical and nearly completely irrefutable.

I don't think he will do that. This game likely would not survive without Facebook, unfortunately.

have your Legion Announcement section for your rules. Just keep it short and sweet.

they won't all fit, and our legion participates in a daily gift thing where i post the name of the legion member to hook up, and it's part of the announcements

Though I do wish we had a Legion Notice, and THEN a Legion Announcement.

You know, like a monthly or weekly message for the notice and then use announcements when you need everyone to urgently see something or send them a message
