The Space Elephant race left behind one of the most powerful planet terraformers before most of their race disappeared from the galaxy. No one knows if they died, left or just went into hiding. The Elephantiser was their prized technology and the few that remained were sold to the highest bidder.

Mafia Wars did something like this for the Haiti appeal. Haitan Drum or something. (Yeah, I know this ain't MF and I'm glad of that but I thought it was great that Zynga do something for the greater good).
