As said above, I want to be able to change what my ship would look like 'cause plainly, i think that the ships humans have don't exactly look cool. I prefer to look like a Dark Runner.

I to would like to see this change though, I think it would give the game more dynamic if we had to "discover" new ship designs either through research [ ship design giving some sort of small bonus to 1 or multiple attributes ] or through combat [ disable a NPC ship(s) and learn their designs etc. ]. On top of that since NPC's generally just change color's or add minor details as they climb in rank you would have to disable them to get access to those colors as well

I think right away, you should be able to add your legion logo, change colors on rims of it, and change a few other small things. Then you could later on, unlock advancements in it's design-ability on your level, and also be able to add sections to the ship to make it look bigger. Also like you said, you should also be able to do certain missions, or find NPC's drops that unlock entire ships desings pyou could choose cetain but not all parts too it]. I think that if Dan andhis team could pull this off, it would be allot more interesting to see other ships.

PS: I also would like to see the ability to customize your avatar for the captain if you want, so we aren't all nude.

We're planning a revamp of some of the starter race ships already. The Human, Vygoid, and Genetarr ships especially need a makeover.

Yeah humans and their boring ships lol. Why are they always brick like industrial in sci fi movies ??

I'm guessing cause most of the sifi movies made are roughly US creations, take a look at cars made in US, mustang, charger, any American muscle car, except the corvette is a brick.

dude the classic human shiny white is the coolest Normady is awesome ( mass effect is gradually becoming aone of my favorite games) but enterprise kills all other space ships even though the Normady is awesome
