Why dont you get xp from a successful hack? It takes energy, should be rewarded xp in return! Thoughts?

well.... some ppl are intentionally trying to stall ranking while not wasting energy.... so they hack....
won't go so well with that crowd now would it?
It's good to have some option to utilize energy in an useful way w/o earning exp....

Yeah, no, sorry.
I use hacking as a method of slow ranking. If I'm using my energy on something giving me no experience but still allowing me to obtain modules, badges, and an overall lead (RP), then I'm not tempted to use my energy on something that will give me experience.
