the game hasn't changed, you must've done something wrong with your math, or applied the tachyon cylinder and subspace seeker AFTER the continuum beacon and stryll seeker
current scan 5381
+50 tachyon cylinder = 5431
+175 subspace seeker = 5606
+10% stryll seeker = 6167 (actually 6166.6)
+15% continuum beacon = 7092 (actually 7091.59)
They are calculated in the order they are applied, and the rounded number is the number the game is showing me
(i'll be back tonight to apply them in reverse order to show the lessened effect)
Edit: With reverse order (which happens to be alphabetical order, by the way)

+15% continuum beacon = 6188 (actually 6188.15)
+10% stryll seeker = 6807 (actually 6806.965)
+175 subspace seeker = 6982 (actually 6981.965)
+50 tachyon cylinder = 7032 (actually 7031.965)
TIP: If you filter your artifact list with the word "scanning" and click once on the Artifact column to sort alphabetically... you can apply your 4 common scan-boosting artifacts in the most efficient manner by starting at the bottom and working your way up
