just a side-note on that.... not sure if anyone has found the larva before getting the Controlling the Silthion repeatable mission (which appears after finishing the Into the Expanse mission that gives your 3 vorigar scan data artis for your aphotic planets)

..... i npc'd a lot before finally deciding to finish off that mission..... maybe i gave up early i dunno... but it only took a fraction of the npc grind after that to get my larva

if ANYONE finds the larva before finishing off the mission that gives their vorigar scan data, please let us know...

You need to be on the controlling the silthion mission before you can see the larva. Good luck.

has Dan specifically stated that somewhere?
or.... is that just inferred by nobody coming forward yet to say they got the larva before Controlling the Silthion?

someone wrote dan and dan replied back that this was the case. The requirement was for your ship to see queens, which means having the mission done 1st. I was not able to see the npc too untill I had the mission done.

ah k.. so we did get clarification from Dan...

Unfortunately, no.. lol But rest assured, once you find it, its not as bad as it may seem. It's like locking on a Boss NPC. Tough, but not unreasonably so.
