Well i was thinking yesterday while doing some NPC'ing and came across an idea and it would be pretty much and artifact that lowers attack and defense of a base by 10%,it could be gained however via arti-pull or an NPC drop it wouldn't be rare bc it is not OP. Thoughts on this is appreciated.

So long as it doesn't stack, sure. It would rather need to be rare though, else you'd end up with the crimson obelisk thing all over again...

+1 if an NPC drops it. -1 if AP drop- If its unstackable (which it should be) then for most it would be a colossal AP waster. now if it were -3% and stackable it would make some sense as an AP drop.

Well with crimson obelisks they are gained via npc and arti-pull so they are very common and easy to get, with this it could be gained via arti-pull (just thinking about the high ranks who npc alot). Now the AP cost however not sure of an amount although Dan would decide the amount himself. So i think that is a better way of obtaining it and if this does get implemented which i hope it does whatever AP amount Dan decides to give it will be it's rarity.

What Thunderbolta means is u can't use 2 or 3 of them to get like 20-30% reduced attack and defense.

I know exactly what he means. I mean that if you have 3 legions hitting a base, and only 1 of these can effect the base, then noone will be using them- making it a useless AP drop. There is no need for something which will merely eat AP and cargo space. whereas if it were 3% at a time, it could be made stackable without being OP, and therefore be consumed at a decent rate.

And if u are saying that no one will use these coz they can't be stacked and therefore a waste of an arti, then u don't understand just how effective 10% can be. A base with 50k def will end up with 45k,it is not OP and will be very useful for base combat. People use emp sphere's and disarming bombs (which can be stacked with dark voids and drannik's) so i don't see y these can't be used w/o being stacked,if u were to make an arti that fuses a drannik with a dark void reducing a bases att and def by 50% then it would be OP. This 10% is more than enough IMO.

Most level 5 bases we attack live for 2-5 MINUTES not hours.... What do we do with the overabundance of this artifact that we'll inevitably have regardless whether it comes from AP or NPC? Not to mention, it would water down the chances of pulling useful artifacts like prisoners and 'droids if it was an AP artifact.
Keep the ideas coming, but this one I have to say no.

Small legions and small battle groups that don't have a lot of firepower would use these, but the mega legions would have little or no use for them, sure it'd be nice to get a 10% debuff on the base, but bases can easily get that 10% defence back just from using base abilities.
in theory it's a nice artifact and would help, in practice it's just selling materials..
(just personal opinion on this~)
