So, I'd like to suggest an artifact that can only be applied if a player has not attacked a planet, hacked, raided or attacked another player within 24 hours that prevents them from having enemy artifacts applied, like CM or EMP or Disarming bombs. It would last longer than halcyon traps.

Wouldn't make you immune to attacks, just to debuffs, and would last like 8 hours so that your Crimson Amps and the like could not be removed..

or better yet an option for those who do not like pvp to remove themselves from the battle tab, but would also keep them from performing any pvp action such as attacking legion base, guarding planets, etc. basically the could only do missions and npc.

-1 mainly because this is a war game and this could easily be abused. Take yourself off the bt until your on. Then put yourself back on the bt for 5 minutes while you pvp, then take yourself off again. Not gonna happen.

Not really a fan of this idea. So -1 on principle.
With that said, any idea that allows someone to "turn off/on the battle tab" would need to have a cooldown period of at least 24 hours. Perhaps 40 just to make the point clear.

I'm not sure about this idea, but it seems reasonable- with the limitation that as soon as the player commits a pvp action(including assigning his ship to guard a planet) this benefit disappears-and that the artifact cannot be used while the ship is already guarding a planet.

Yeah, sorry, I should have posted that immunity goes away if one does what the arti bans, just like CA and HT. The idea is just to be able to do an NPC run in peace.

Actually I have heard a lot of new players will leave the game because of the often chaotic low rank pvp while people are learning and experimenting. My reasoning is that the pvp mode flag requires some days or even a week of no pvp activity, and drops if you take a hostile action, which prevents abuse. Player is warned that taking an action will drop their status. I think it will help retain some players that are more sensitive to being attacked, even at mid ranks some people prefer not to be involved in pvp so it's really a playstyle choice that I think people should have. Obviously at higher ranks people just have enough items to keep themselves from being attacked most of the time if they wanted. A no-pvp flag would remove people from btab, and obviously all alerts would expire before they could set the flag anyway, so there is no reason they should be hit anyway (but it would be like a halc where they cannot be hit).
