It would be great to be able to have legion documents in the actual legion tab, rather than referring members to a FB group or some other outside resource for rules, guidelines, etc. from a popup opened via a "Legion Docs" button. The button could be called "Documents" or something else instead of "Legion Docs", as long as it's clear. I am imagining that each document has a category and a title. Even if the documents supported the minimum of text with line breaks, it would be a huge advantage. Bold and italics would be nice and hopefully easy to implement. Ordered and bullet lists, headings, and 5 or more column tables would be all be awesome features as well, but not as critical. The really killer feature would be a way to send a clickable link to the legion comm, so that any legionary can tell anyone in the comm what document they need, and they can simply click to open it up. I understand that's really a jump in implementation difficulty, but I thought I'd throw it out there. Mockup of the doc button: Mockup of doc listing: (edit to fix broken tinypic link - switched over to imgur, hopefully it's more stable)

I like the idea. I wouldn't have to be on half of Delta's asses to join the page to read over our docs.

+1
Having written several documents on a facebook group page myself, and going through the pains of trying to get members to join the group for the purpose of reading said documents, this would be of tremendous help. For simplicities sake, maybe the documents themselves could just be clickable hyperlinks to facebook docs, or google docs. Either this would make it a whole lot easier to inform players of legion specific rules and guidelines.

+1 love the idea, but we should maybe limit this to facebook groups or profiles, since we all know some idiot somewhere will post a virus or porn site there...

Definitely a +1 from me. It would make legion management easier, cleaner, and more secure. Brilliant suggestion and visualisation, ICBLF.

I Totally agree allot to this +1, it could help get members the rules as not everyone bothers to join the group.

Lone.Lycan wrote: why are people against using the features in facebook for a facebook game? According to this logic, why have a legion comm at all? My point is simply that the only thing I can guarantee a legionary will have done is join the legion. My goal is making information about the legion accessible to them in the least complicated way. It can be done out of game, but it's clunky and overly complex to manage an in game legion, and then an out of game page with non-character names...
