Haven't you ever looked at your friends spaceship and wondered how it would feel to crush it from a mega colossal bad ass spacesip to a tiny extremely sparse ship? Well, i was sitting here one day and watched my friend brag about his accomplishment of reaching lvl 100 and i really wanted to crush him, but there was just one problem. I couldn't attack him

So my idea is as follows:
How about there would be an option that says "Challenge player to a duel", but he has to be online for you to fight.
I'm thinking that one players sends the challenge, and the other accepts. Then it would be an automated attack sequence that will make both players attack eachother at the same time, like when you attack an NPC or player both get damage at the same time. So with other words, almost like an animation that shows bot players how they do against eachother but they can't interfere. This would be a fight to disable and it would make it alot more fun to have friends on GL to compare ships against eachother

Having it automated sounds good, since my internet is pretty poor and my attacks take forever sometimes.

brilliant idea...but nobody on my friends list is near my rank...what about requesting to battle legion members or would that confuse the game even further?

Well... there could be an option that allowed you to challenge your legionmates, but that would semply mean much more work for Dan. The easiest way to challenge players is to add them on facebook, so they can be on your friend list, and then you can challenge them to a battle
