But to instantly promote someone, I don't care how trustworthy people say someone is, I need to inspect them first before I jump to conclusions.

okay guys his is just an idea to make merging legions easier. it has nothing to do with legion merges not working out. it could also really help out some smaller legions who have passion for the game. i have seen some amazing legions with 20 members and level 6 bases who could be so much more with more members. this is and idea to help those types of legions and just legions in general.

If you want the game to continue to be a success, equal time should be spent facilitating the new players as well as making new ideas for the higher ranks. If Dan ignores the little guys like you seem to suggest, there will be an end to new members, and with an already astronomical washout rate, that would be catastrophic to the game population.

As we see in the past couple days with the new badge gear, Dan is already working on numerous side projects along side major changes like the Galactic Commerce Center, so it's not out of the question to continue to propose new and different ideas as a side note.

I do agree with you that this may not be the most immediately needed idea being presented, but that in no way takes away from the validity of it. The OP is not asking for an immediate implementation, merely proposing an idea and asking if it has a place in the game.

As the highlighted section shows, you basically just illustrated my point with your own words. You are shooting this idea down because you personally don't want Dan to be working on it. Not because you have found some flaw with the idea, or because it allows cheating.

dude this has nothing to do with bad judgements made by your legion so quit hating on this idea just cause someone messed with you guys. and if this idea had been in place then you could have gotten new members to make up for the ones you lost much more quickly.

overall we only lost 2 members, not a big deal since we replaced them with a couple from our other legions...

As with most games that are kept up to date, it is not 1 person's responsability to do it there are probably 10-20 people that have co-op control over it, dan is just the face and name behind it. On top of that to add something like this would take.... 5-10 minutes of code writing, literally any first year comp prog student could do it.

for all of you on here who complain about multi account users, i feel that this could help with that. alot of multi account people make multiple accounts because they feel that they can't fill up all the membership slots in a legion. with this idea less people would make multiple accounts. I'm not saying that the problem would be solved completely but this idea being implemented would help.
