It has just occurred to me that there are no improvements as to hacking, raiding, attacking, and conquering planets through attempting them and gaining experience.

It just makes logical sense that someone who does something a lot gets better and better at it. Here's what I'm proposing (as new experience levels, also as a passive ability)

Hacking
Level 1 - No hacking bonus
Level 2 - 500 Hacks required: 2% Hacking bonus
Level 3 - 1,000 Hacks required: 4% Hacking bonus
Level 4 - 2,500 Hacks required: 6% Hacking bonus
Level 5 - 5,000 Hacks required: 8% Hacking bonus
Level 6 - 7,500 Hacks required: 10% Hacking bonus
Level 7 - 10,000 Hacks required: 15% Hacking bonus

Raiding
Level 1 - No raiding bonus
Level 2 - 250 Raids required: 2% Raiding bonus
Level 3 - 750 Raids required: 4% Raiding bonus
Level 4 - 1,250 Raids required: 6% Raiding bonus
Level 5 - 1,750 Raids required: 8% Raiding bonus
Level 6 - 2,500 Raids required: 10% Raiding bonus
Level 7 - 3,500 Raids required: 15% Raiding bonus

Battles
Level 1 - No bonus
Level 2 - 10,000 Battles required: 1% Bonus to NPC attack/defense, Base Attack/defense, & Passive Attack/defense
Level 3 - 25,000 Battles required: 2% Bonus to NPC attack/defense, Base attack/defense, & Passive attack/defense
Level 4 - 50,000 Battles required: 3% Bonus to NPC attack/defense, Base attack/defense, & Passive attack/defense
Level 5 - 100,000 Battles Required: 4% Bonus to NPC attack/defense, Base attack/defense, & Passive attack/defense
Level 6 - 250,000 Battles required: 5% Bonus to NPC attack/defense, Base attack/defense, & Passive attack/defense

Planet Conquering
Level 1 - No conquering bonus
Level 2 - 10 Planet Conquers required: 2% Bonus to invasion attack
Level 3 - 25 Planet Conquers required: 4% Bonus to invasion attack
Level 4 - 50 Planet Conquers required: 6% Bonus to invasion attack
Level 5 - 75 Planet Conquers required: 8% Bonus to invasion attack
Level 6 - 100 Planet Conquers required: 10% Bonus to invasion attack

I do like this quite a bit, but maybe throw in something for the missioners, like 1% extra energy for x missions or some odds

By This reasoning I'd pretty well be at rank 4 already... I like this Idea +1 and i'm in aggreeance with the add something for missioners.

+1 for the idea, just may have to nerf some bonuses like the invasion one...find it slightly too OP when you can already get 2 decimators and the relatively rare exotica badge reward (another +3-5% invasion if im not mistaken) and the autonomous processor whenever it may decide to change again (even if the last 2 are mostly for high ranked players)

but one question, hack/raid bonus, is that an increase in chance of doing it right or increased loot?

I really like the idea. However you need to make the raid's needed match the Hacks. This would give us something to work for. As some are all ready at max and I'm getting close to it. Same with the Battles 250K is nothing any more. And same again with the planet Conquering. As I'm at 145 invades now. Also Dan will not add something in like this that would give you more energy or EXP gain because he does not like auto rankers. So don't add any of that. However adding something for disabling other players would be nice. And don't forget go high for the high end items. So everyone can work for it.

On the surface, it looks like a good idea. But if I may, let me point out a couple things I see if you look a little deeper....

Giving a better bonus to raiding and hacking as you progress not only encourages farming, but makes it easier. Yes, we already have Cipherbots and Proteans that do that, but keep in mind that they are a ship mod requiring decks and also have a secondary bonus.

The invasion bonus, I think would just be way too exploitable by "football" players.

Who farms people over hacking? I can see hack farming if you dislike someone who bothering but seriously, who hack farms someone? They're only wasting energy. Plus If someone is a non-pvper then farming definitely wouldn't be a problem. As for those who do pvp it's called revenge. They brought it to themselves by increasing their counters. 5 hacks from one person on the BT using 1 Null Fuse to clear the QFT is way more efficient than 5 hacks from 5 different people using up to 5 Null Fuses. That's farming. Same idea with raiding out one person on a disable.

It isn't about having the effect FOR the "football," it's about getting the effect FROM the "football." Passing one planet around a handful of people gives you the opportunity to have 100 invasions well before you would be able to even have 100 planets. THAT is the exploit.

No it's not: Less badges.
That's why there's QFTs in the game
Uhh... less badges. More of a chance that you'll critically fail if you fail to raid the person twice.

That's why there's QFTs in the game <-- If you are going for hack COUNTs, you hit one person multiple times. Fuse off the QFT on the first hack and then go at it.
