Is there anyway to stop people targeting and/or disabling it. Im the only officer of my legion and my leader is currently away dealing with some personal issues, so i am the only one able to defend the base during attack. I have a level 5 base Max Hull 20k defense 3500 attack. Its not like we are a weak base but it seems every single time we get targeted its by someone we can't stand to beat. We are just a training legion 6 people including our leader above rank 100. we are a fairly new legion but we have been disabled 5 times already. 1st dysonians 2nd Galactic Paladins 3rd Dysonians 4th supernova 5th and just happened Galaxy Desperados. we have only repelled 2 successful attacks one was supernova the other was a legion that didn't even attack us at all. I think there should be a way so that we have a chance to get above 30% defenders bonus without getting knocked back to 0 by a ridiculously high ranked legion. I think there should be a weeks grace period or something because im tired of all the high ranked legions just going around and basically bullying every legion that can't even fight back. like i said were a training legion most of our people are rank 5-80 with a few 100s. We can't disable the Dysonians base. I personally think that legions should only be able to fight with other legions around there strength, that there should be a way to cloak bases from assaults like we can ships, and there should be some sort of grace period where you can't be targeted for a certain about of time after being targeted or disabled. This is getting so annoying and frequent it makes me wanna leave my legion sometimes.

This sounds exactly like the base Sillkillix and I killed yesterday :?

Nothing you can really do to stop us from killing your base other than getting a bunch of fixers in your legion to make it not worth killing.

If you restrict base battles based on legion strength, it will die. Very fast. If legions are forced to battle bases based on their own base strength, there won't be very many disables happening, and those that do happen will be so expensive it becomes cost prohibitive to do it on a regular basis. Next, legion strength and base strength are not equal. We have probably one of the most comprehensive catalogs of enemy bases in the galaxy. We see a bunch of leaderboard legions with crap bases and a bunch of weak legions with excellent bases. I hate to say it this way, but it sounds to me like your legion just leveled its base beyond its ability to defend.

It's just bad luck, you'll get patches like that but there'll be times when you're not locked for months, it's how the game works. And don't go round saying their bullying you. Makes you sound like a little baby, something I'm sure your not.

Well technically theres a couple ways to limit the disables.

1. Not sure if this still works -- dont repair base after disable, it repairs on its own after a week, and cant be targeted during that time frame.

2. Have a level 1 base, they cant be targeted.

Define bullying then because when the strongest/ highest ranking legion does battle agaisnt a training legion its not exactly a fair fight

according to your signature your supernova correct? supernova was a little farther back because between attacks we got 2-3 days rest

Bullying is when they specifically look and disable your base day after day.

So if you make it somewhat fair then the higher ranked players wont wanna do it anymore? -insert you don't say meme. I personally think though like PvP it should be somewhat regulated so that weaker legions can't be attacked by high ranked ones

I've also sold planets before so ive been to multiple legions before and some in the leaderboard i have noticed don't have a very good base. A lot of them just use their reputation to scare away people from targeting them i guess. I don't think my base is weak for by any standard though for a level 5 to have max hull top tier weapons & defense with over 20,000 defense is pretty good, but thats just what i think coming from a legion with a level 3 base before i joined this one

Coincidence, no-one would spend the badge sot lock one particular base, however weak it is.

Yea but like most high ranking legions they keep a book of all the bases they attack they probably knew as soon as they scanned our base that it was the same one from the other day

Probably, and they realised it was a weak one so decided to lock it, maximize the energy - reward ratio.

Im not trying to sound arrogant but our base isn't weak it took them 5 1/2 hours attacking it before they finally disabled it

Good for you? Listen man, just keep working on your base and don't worry about it. Sooner or later if you make it strong enough people will stop locking it because it is a waste of their time. Level 5s are harder to defend because all those higher ranked legions will scan it on purpose. That is why TA had been keep back on upgrading our base for the longest time. Now that we are situated though we find that we are scanned far less.

well if it took them so long and so much energy why did they turn around a day or too later and attack again. Im trying to make my base as strong as possible without spending real life cash on it, but its all just making me angry because it seems like my legion is just falling apart. in less then 2 weeks we went from 52/54 members to 31/54 lowering production from 30,000 a day to 19,000 a day at best. plus the fact most of the members that quit were vygoid so that lowers our base ability even more and now this streak of getting disabled were lucky to get above 10,000 production, and with no leader present its not exactly the best thing at the moment. I personally am thinking about switching legion. Everything is just turning for the worse right now.

Ok, as one of the key figures in The Triumvirate (Dysonians, Paladins, Unknown and Pirates of the Cove) who lead the base locking decisions, let me explain a little bit about how we operate and why your base would have been disabled by us so much.

We keep a database of all the bases we fight. We log their stats and give it a rating based on how hard we feel it is. When we do a scan for bases to fight, usually 2 or 3 people will do a couple scans. We review what is found and decide which one to attack based on our ratings and how many people we have online. Then we lock, share and shoot. Chances are that if your base lasted 5-1/2 hours, you put up a good enough defense that we decided to wait until you had to make a choice between using AP to rebuff or for repairs. Now, yes... Some of us have noticed "favored" bases and will hit them every time we scan them. But we don't throw reds out the window specifically looking for a particular base. Easy base = fast kill = low energy consumption. Someone else mentioned the energy vs reward. We like to use as little energy as we have to.

wah wah wah, my legions falling apart.. maybe its because leadership is just whining instead of trying to correct the issues your clearly plagued with.
wah, dont hit our weak base..
I somehow dont think that it 'took 5.5 hours' for the dysos to disable you, i would wager that they were just getting as many people to hit the base for max silver payout. which is what most legions do. And at X time remaining, they did a push on the base and disabled it quite easily.

Sorry but your stats ARE weak for a lvl 5. Thats the problem with training legions bases. . They get leveled up by high ranks, and then left to the care of a very few people who have played for a bit. This leaves the base lacking for its level. This comes from not only less clamps, but also less space (extenders), and inabilityy to pay upkeep for better mods.
There's not anything for them they are getting way better production than they have earned.
