Special Bonus: 20% more Credits when scraping items.
Special class: Metallurigist; ability: improves the condition of all ships modules by 10%. Costs 200 energy and can be used onve every 40 hours.

could care less about the Story leave that up to the Dan The Man so he can keep all the credit in what not. Just think it would be a interesting mission chain.


EDIT:Ok how about this For a Twist, Instead of a 20% extra creds when scrapping, what about if gives you the ability to research a new CT lab item Called a "Junk Recycler" And What is does is like a Mylarai extractor by taking the Artifact off the planet but instead of putting it in your inventory It Recycles the Item into Either CTP, EM, Or CR(What the Amounts are ill leave to dan if he so chooses). And for what it needs to be created lets go with something everyone wants to get rid of..like oh 10 Ship-Bots(those arms can take the artifacts apart) and 10 Resource Probes(Because they know the Resources on ships why not know the resources inside that Artifact)

Also this item is ment to ease that nasty strain of Tri-phases and ship-bots that everyone at the top complains about but, this CT lab items is available for EVERYONE that complete the storyline so before some one says boo-hoo thts a high-lvl item i will scoff ahead of time because anyone with more then 2k AP/h can get 10 ship bots in a month, like you would any other items that take 100s of artifact. So it can be got at any level (pending completion of the Story line) and is readily available for all levels, Cuz cmon we all have that one artifact that we mistakenly put on there but is easy to get again but it would be a waste of a extractor so OH i think i will use a Junk Recycler!

TERRIBLE! -1 items scrap fo like max 1mil(im not sure the right figure im probs far off) At least 500% more

AS much as i hate to agree with mysterion....+20% credits from scrapping is well worthless i can nearly get the same thing from just being a miner profession, not to mention +20% out of what normal artifacts scrap for is a joke.

The idea for repairing ship mods, meh just a way to avoid less clicking for a high ranker, thats just one of many prices you have to pay if you want to keep all of those high end ship mods.

A noble effort and a different twist. I do like the "one man's trash is another man's treasure" concept. Perhaps to actually make it worth something, the special race/ class could alchemy/metallurgy ordinary items (cloning pods, resource probes, etc) into CTP.

Even if you scraped all other normal artifacts for even 1 ctp that would be way over powered for someone who can pull in a couple 1000 junk artifacts a day....

Any one pulling that many artys is set on cash. trust me . they're already making over 20 billion a day after upkeep so scraping artys would make no difference .

Meh was just a example about why stolenplanet's idea of making it scrap for ctp would be a bad thing, Even i would be rolling in more ctp then i need and im already very well off regarding that, granted I am a neat freak when it comes to my cargo hold.....

The racial benefits simply arn't worth it - If people wanted the credits, then they'd play mylaria - I did some sums, and you get at least 100-200% more credits than average, when playing as mylrai,

I know its not the greatest Race, but common i think that special CT lab art that can unlock if you choose that race is cool. It kinda Fixes that issue of surplus Ship-bots and gives the high lvls another Chain to do. increases a person chance to get the medal for unlocking something from the CT lab and what not.

Have the" junk lords" as an npc race, with a very rare npc boss- Stig of the dump, drops a massive yellow skip!

Another mission chain isn't a problem. Dan always comes out with those so it's not like we're running out...
