so i was chatting with Delta265 about his comment on my other thread: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=26798and i got an idea for how base hacking could work: costs 5 blue badges costs 2k research points costs 10 energy you have the potential to get: Rare(5% chance) - a CT Lab discovery Uncommon(20% chance) - 10k Research Points Common(75% chance) - 5k Research Points

how about you donate the badges to the base where they are pooled and can be activated by a leader or officer or both(legion Option)

Or... I dunno... Farm some Sha'din Envoys on your NPC tab and then do some real damage to a base. I know a few people who have gained 1M+ research points from one base battle.
In other words, there's already a mechanic for "hacking" bases.

i kinda think there is something in this, but the whole ct-lab thing would make it incredibly easy to get all discoveries. Especially at 5% chance, thats huge for ct-lab discoveries. way op.
I personally would like to see more base raiding/hacking options, but ct-lab should imnsho not be involved.
CT-Lab is supposed to be hard to get, to require an huge legion effort.
id like to see some sort of base cloaking, even if its a temp boost that is hard to achieve.
at the moment 99% of bases are just fish in a barrel waiting for the top 25 to chew through them.
battles should be on a cool down too, stop the big guys from just spamming the same base all the time.
oops sorry went a bit off topic then.

How about Base Raid Cooldown... if you fail a base raid, you're able to do it again 2 hours later. You'll have atleast 2-3 chances of raiding a base again.

but at the same time the base raid cooldown has its reasons seeing as you still fail a huge amount of the time at 90% chance but thats just the core gameplay mechanics same as how you can fail 5 times in a row on invading a planet that you have 90% on or to invade when you have only 4% chance.
