Kill 20k Stryll Assassin's
40 medal points
Unlocks Ability
200 energy to use
Lasts 2 hours
EACH TIME all your slots are filled with Stryll Assassin's they all disappear and get replaced with new npcs


(Medal name)
Kill 5k Stryll Assassin's
30 medal points
Earns permanent bonus
+20% attack towards Stryll Assassin's
(OR maybe)
10% chance that a Stryll Assassin will flee when attacking it

(Medal name)
Purchase 4 of each type of Composite Ray weapon
20 medal points
Upgrades all Composite Rays into
Composite Ray MKII
Stats for all Composite Rays triple

i like the first bonus but styrll assassins are the main source of dark badges so nay to the second

but this ability would last for 2 hours so you would end up saving alot of energy in that time

by the time you get the medal strylls wont be a big problem and magneto sphere chargers are awesome

A-- Only a relatively small minority of people NPC for 2+ hours.
B-- Given that NPCs spawn randomly, I'm not going to spend 200 energy while I'm autoranking to wipe 6/8 Assassins when I can refresh and find my slots filled with them again.

It's quite easy if you are "intimidated" by Assassins to just kill a couple of them when you fill up, then work the normally easier NPCs that spawn in their place. Generally, only people that can kill them in MinShot or MinShot+1 are going to go "top down" on their NPCs.

I could get behind the idea of an upgraded composite ray, but it would make more sense as a badge item such as the dominion auto blasters

I like the ideas pretty well. I rather hate Stryll assassins because they aren't worth the energy and hit points to kill. A permanent damage or defense bonus against them specifically would be nice, although I think the medals ask for the disabling of too many ships. Why not several hundred instead of several thousand? That's what the current killing medals ask for, so I think its fair, especially seeing how tough the assassins are compared to the slews of four hit noobish vessels owned by both the Crimson Blades, and Sha'din Coalition for their medals.
