Forgive me for my noobness to start with, first forum post ever. Usually i just read everyone elses posts and learn what i can that way. Somehow i have managed to get a Dyson planet in my scanned planets which i did not scan myself and have not crit hacked anyone either. Also have flux probed it and there are no other ships that have scanned it either. It cannot be colonized, have tried
How could no other ships have scanned it if it was created by a player ?
Again forgive the noobness, question has probably been asked but couldnt find anything via the search function.

Yes it is, had a few responses in my legion as well, said that it happens when a player deletes there accounts, the planet loses its owner.
Real bummer lol.
Strange thing is i still cant figure out how it appeared in my scan list....

very rare. i only know 1 person to have found one(not counting the people on the forum).

i thought that if a player resets / gets banned, the cloak on the planet disappears after awhile ?

the passive cloak on my invincible dyson is 10,000. is there still any cloak left on the one you found Gav ?

Yep it still has 10k cloak on it.
Gonna keep it in my list, have lots of other rubbish planets to purge first, maybe i will have a chance to colonize it, although i am very doubtful of that, but hope springs eternal

At the very least you could use it for a medal if you havnt already.

Dont know about that the only invinvibles i have in my DB are mine. The onhover description only stipulates that it cannot be attacked.

as for an invincible planet, I don't think you can alert them even if they're abandoned... someone used a hyperterraformer on a planet I have scanned and I can't share it, in fact the ONLY thing you can do to it is purge or flux probe it

that planet so should of been mine lol ...loosing out to family ties.... makes me want to cry and all the begging i did lol
