 Ok My 5c in terms of ideas before I Go

Since i have already kissed and said my goodbyes, i think ill add my couple of suggestions which is aimed at Dan really.

We all know that not just paying people make up this game, but non paying people as well, I am not unhappy to say that i did pay my way through the game for the past two and a bit years, for me it would have been hard not to, and once you open that wallet the bloody thing does not close. the one click purchase part is devious thing, I digress.

Now like i said non paying players are as important as paying players, and the fact that everyone can get everything that the others get other than say fathers and one or two other types is pretty good. But on the same token for the people who do pay and what I will say now will probably get some bad comments. i would have liked to see the following ( and I would have liked to see some path for non paying to get the same )

1) planet protection for anyone to spend ages, possibly all their play time and or money devoting to building production on a planet to get it stolen I believe more options to securing planets should have been made available I believe the paying players would have paid for this and the bulk of players would have worked some ladder to get these as well. A guy who ranks 1000 more than another player has the most obscene advantage that no matter what the young player does he cannot protect that planet even I have taken a few planets with over 70k defenses/ Attack ( a young player would see 70k as a dream )

2) the one chance planet upgrade (Reality Transfuser) has been brought up a number of times yet you seem to be rigid on this absurd ruling, considering it costs $6.50, one would think allowing people a second shot would mean more income.

3) we cant really complain about content there was a call about adding senior content, what most people don't realize is weekly missions are considered content as each forms part of a short story line and becomes a mission chain. there is no real difference between this and what we had from day one.
Naturally top level guys have gotten to the point where they don't have much in the line of missions they have huge energy or whatever so the weekly missions don't offer any particular challenge. Tier rewards stopped a longtime ago for most players.

4) make expanders tradable, what is there to lose you know people trade artifacts and credits for items like fluxes, sometimes its simply players who cant afford to spend real money but do have other means to grow, i think it will do the community good if these were available it will allow so many more people to afford mission planets. and you as the developer make much more money because there are always players with extra real cash to spend if they want something in return that can help them in the game.

I think these few suggestions can help you achieve more, at this time why dont allot of players buy expanders, why don't that many take up the offer for rift, as far as I'm concerned I am now at the end of my game and i never got to give you maybe $200 or whatever because you simply don't have enough Dysons in your universe. most people save their rifts for the hopes that one day they find a Dyson if at rank 1200 after doing several thousand more scans than the average Dyson owner and you still dont have a Dyson then you as the developer is losing out on that cash.

My general tone in this open letter of has been one of business incentive to make changes that derive more money from those able and willing to pay while affording those who cant afford to pay to achieve their own goals i don't believe any of this affects the balance of the game.

it has been a great run, Thanks Dan i personally have had very good support from you over the past two years you have been very prompt at responding to queries and very fair. Please accept this with the good intentions. Planet safety is the biggest on the ground concern with players and the biggest reason why many players Dont invest in items of value. this must not have limits to 3 or 4 planets.

The pvp types will always hate this idea but there will be allot more higher level planets being produced who may not have already got immunity.

I'm not going to go through each individual idea, but they all seem fairly solid, and it wouldn't be a game breaker if they were added.

ok Interesting twist to all this, I planned a scan today been purging like crazy on about planet number 50 shocked face i saw a beautiful diamon amongst the coal, a Dyson with awesome stats. 2 years and 13467 scans later i found her, all lonely and dusty she was polished up and well long story short see Dan you got $50 for her.

Easy, OK facebook is greedy taking 30% but hey, and sadly i was victim to a crappy planet upgrade when I used the Reality Transfuser point 2 in my original post .

Anyway cheers for now i have a bit more life in me with the game for a while.

I think Dan did that on purpose :P, but seriously though I don't believe in coincidences and hopefully this means you stick around for a while.
