So recently I began the Surgical Precision mission, and as usual, I have to scroll down to see the mission.
But I thought of a great idea. When opening the mission (clicking "mission briefing") that there should be a way to pin it for easier access to the mission briefing. (My personal thought would be a blue circle next to "continue mission")
Then the mission gets pinned to the top of the mission list, where the weekly/biweekly mission shows up, and if a weekly/biweekly mission is present, the pinned mission would appear below it.
From there, the mission can be unpinned by completing it or by clicking the pin button by "continue mission" (which could be turned red when the mission has been pinned)
and have a cap of how many missions may be pinned at 1, 2 or 3.

Helpful, though I don't personally feel like the scroll log was too long. And, at least it stayed in place once you did get to it, unlike artifacts and ship modules until recently. I give the suggestion a +1

A +1 from me ut maybe another way of doing it is just placing the last mission you've worked on at the top.
