i just thought (this is a thing that Dan can do in his spare time) when your disabled your ship appearance changes to make it looked a little bit destroyed

Well, if Dan really had nothing else to do, I'd say +1. However, with this simply being cosmetic and not really adding to the game in a productive manner, there are other things which he could do instead.

Unfortunately, he does have things to do which are yes, small, but would benefit the game in a way that would make it easier to use.
