every now and then there is a whinge like this, asking if dan is here, what hes doing, is he reading suggestions, etc etc etc.
if he stops making updates, stops talking in the forums, he would lose players, and that loses him money. he would obviously be aware of this.
ive played a but ton of facebook games, this is likely the game ive stayed on longest though, just over 2 years now, and its still fun, there is updates often enough for me to not whine. there has been other games that simply stopped updating, the forums would fall over and no one would repair them, and there would be no announcement to that fact, the mods and devs would just disappear. (luckily i didnt spend any money on these)

As long as there is updates, and everything keeps running, im happy with the game, Dan knows what it takes to keep a player base or he wouldnt be a developer in the first place. Just because he isnt catering to your demands doesnt mean hes not doing his job. (and i remind you, it IS his job, its a game to you, but maybe he just doesnt enjoy enough it to spend all day on updates and checking the forums)

Heh wasn't whinging, i was more speaking for the majority of players that want to hear dan speak to us more, and to give us more than something like the kelethor. The Bi-weekly's are still going strong which is a positive, yes we get crappy missions here and there in the bi-weekly but u can't always get the goodn's. I'm happy as well just like u are and am in the same boat as this is the longest FB game i have played too, i just see alot of people whinging on the forums, which to a certain extent i can understand, which is why i made that post.

The reason dan is so inactive is a little bit of a mystery, what he really needs most is to ask or even employ someone to correspond with him, give the player base some info as to what's going on.

+1 on that one. I am sure there are many people in the GL community who would do it for free just so that everyone would know what was going on. I know I would.
