I have no idea what purpose the roman numerals after most common NPC names could possibly serve. I propose that they be removed so that the battle tab will look cleaner and have more space.

True, but they're annoying and probably unnecessary. If there's a technical reason why they need to be there, then fine, let's keep them. But otherwise they're as pointless as a nun's boobs.

I explained this once before... The attached Roman numerals are there to distinguish the Stryll Assassin you just killed from the Stryll Assassin that refreshes into the same NPC slot.

This is possible, yes, but far less likely to occur than the same issue occuring when there are no roman numerals present. I've had to kill four or five stryll assassins in a row from refreshes like this and if there weren't roman numerals I might've started to think that something was very wrong. The fact there is an actual change to the NPC (Insignificant in any physical way) is very reassuring.

i agree, i say we get rid of them.

Its time to stop coddling peoples insecurities with the battle tab.

You really need the numerals to reassure your tab is "functioning properly"...?

In addition.. There are zero advantages to getting rid of them aside from a minor aesthetic one that not everybody even wants.
