If by "intentionally exploiting," you mean doing the same thing as everyone else does, only faster and more efficiently, then yes. We are. Anyone who has doubts should just come visit and see for themselves.

yes there are players cheating in the game we all love...i have a very good idea of a couple of them, and neither of the names i'm thinking of have posted in this thread.

Is anyone hiding anything? We said we kill them fast, sometimes we get doubles or more. By them I mean everything: bases, NPCs, and players. We don't try for it, but it occurs.
Do we like it? Of course who doesn't like an extra reward?
Should it be fixed? Again yes.
Has this been brought up talked about for over a year? Yes.
Has anyone been banned? Nope, not for this at least.

Oh and as for my comment, ya I would rather content than fixing this glitch. My priorities are to keep the game going.
Having a small bonus for extremely active legions vs having new things for all legions to kill and do sounds like it would be beneficial to the game than the killing off a small reward for a small group and having nothing for the rest of the galaxy.

I guess that leaves just us new kids at EotS....hmmm I wonder how we deserved such an honor...?

lol why not just post their names then, i mean if your so sure that there are certain persons within a certain legion responsible, then clearly you've made this an accusation thread, and as such you have proof of either them cheating now, or having cheated in the past, so just be done with it and post their names.

It pretty much makes it easier for everyone to know whose being singled out as the cheats, and it makes everyone's lives easier too, especially Dan's, who i assume hasn't been told of your suspicions, because if he had been, he would have found this person/s to have been cheating and banned them already.

hmmm.. i should think that all these accusations of cheating would fall under a breach of the TOS, as none of it is to be mentioned on the forums/discussed openly...

I play on a laptop at all times, using just the touchpad.

Don't really have a need for a gaming mouse, as GL is the only online game i play, so wouldn't really be cost effective for me.

I was a member of stormkyn.. we based with cn, loi, and others with big hitters.. and to be fair I like just about everyone over at stormkyn .. from personal experience they are an awesome group of guys and alot of fun to play the game with .. that being said .. part of the reason I was taking leave and came to EoTS was to be around players with similar game goals

a typical 6 with those base groups would look something like this after an hour

LoI or CN member 10000000
Stormkyn member 600-700k
LoI or CN member 600-700k
Stormkyn member 400-600k
next 10-12 guys doing random amounts of damage between 10 and 100k
next 40 guys going 300

and the base would die... and I have personally gotten doubles more than once with those basing arrangement .. but by the end of the base there were 6 or 7 people hitting it

a TYPICAL triumverate base after 2 minutes

Top Spot 20k
10 spot 15k
30 spot 12k
50 spot 10k

and 50 people are hitting it from the moment its shared to the moment its dead.. no one wants to give the legion a chance to buff.. nd if they do buff and defend .. after 30-40 minutes when the base goes down (and they all do) there are STILL 40-50 people constantly hitting it just to stay in the top 50 to get a badge.. its just a bi product of having multiple very active legions..

for npcs.. fab plants , queens and kelethors aren't alive by the time the alert hits your screen.. everything is ffa .. you switch tabs to see if you are close to locking you lose your spot and a drop ..hypergrids are typically down in 5-10 minutes Nexus's are dead in 30 seconds and will frequently have 15 people fighting for 10 drops .. this is a product of a very active (20 people online almost all the time day and night) and very powerful legion ..

There is no cheating going on .. you can see how fast people are clicking and doing damage on bases and bigger npcs they aren't accumulating damage any faster than I am ..

Just saying .. I love stormkyn .. you just can't comment on what you think is going on till you see how well everyone works together and see the results first hand..

Right... So the scenic route has taken us from thinly veiled accusations versus The Triumvirate to blatant private accusations versus EotS and now to "gaming" mice... While technically illegal, supercharged gaming mice offer no advantages since Dan added the restrictor plate for click speed. C'mon, I can outclick the game with an OPTICAL 2-button scroll mouse I bought at a dollar store for 8 bucks. How is a gaming mouse going to do anything I can't do with mine?

I got that part, but no, I have absolutely no suspected members here in EotS using clickers. If you have better insight than I, please inform Dan and if you would like, myself as well. I will certainly be more than happy to know who/why they are being accused, as well as assisting in resolving the issues. There is no way for me to be 100% sure, but I must say that I am absolutely confident that my guys are clean, and I have no suspicions of illegal activity within EotS at all. I am here all day, everyday, and the types of cheats we are speaking of would be quite noticeable.
