Would it be possible to have a checkbox next to each mineral, linked to the the "sell all" button? It gets tedious going through entering the amount of each mineral I want to sell, if I don't want to sell everything. For example I need Hydium for a lot of my construction and would like to save it, but want to sell everything else. If I could click a box on just the ones I WANT to sell, it would make life much easier.

Put a tick beside all minerals. Add a "sell marked" button

would be nice. but i think he has alot of upgrades and ideas in his head atm. i'd put this down as "when you can". Like you say its just a minor inconvenience, not a game altering issue.

would really help. i dont know how many times i retrieved to just get one type of mineral so i could purchase something, then have to manually sell all but one to make space in cargo. having a button by each one will speed it up.
edit: sometimes when im cheap i will retrieve many times to get the quantity i want, and have to sell the rest to make room...

oh i understand the issues. i do the same as you. grab minerals, sell all the ones i don't need. grab minerals, sell all i don't need. etc but how often do you do this? once every 3 or 4 days? just saying its low priority. would be nice. but there are things of higher importance so I wouldn't expect it anytime soon

I If I'm not trying to harvest building materials, then I'm trying to harvest certain minerals to reward the people guarding my planets. Or I'm just trying to have a payday without selling stuff I want to keep. And I realize it's not as important as some other things, most of the stuff in this forum isn't a priority. The point is to get the ideas out there!

could the sell button sell ALL for that type if the value field is empty? that could be a really easy way to implement this. also it would be cool to have the buy button default as 1.
edit. i still agree with the check box idea to avoid accidental clicks. edit2. with the check box idea, if none are checked sell all(as it is now), if one or more are checked sell only those checked. OR check those you DONT want to sell.

After going through the selective selling process over and over again today, I figure it's time to bump this.

Someone who rewards people for guarding planets?...Wish I was in your legion On topic though, I would like to see this option as long as it isn't delaying something great in the works.

If we can't have a checkbox, here is another possibility that would ease the pain: When clicking the sell button next to a mineral, if no value is entered for the amount, all of that mineral is sold.
Edit - I just now noticed that Hunter already suggested this idea above. Oops!

+1 to this idea in any form Hell, even click sell and have a confirmation pop-up would be better! Anything but having to type numbers in

Oddly enough, I was just about to create a thread with this exact same idea. Glad I looked before I posted. +1 vote from me.

i like the latest update, but it would still be nice to have the check boxes so i dont have to keep clicking all the buttons but one every time i retrieve. if they are persistent that would be even better. have the checks be for minerals to either exclude from sell all, or to sell the selected minerals. i prefer exclude because i want the preserve the default sell all without added clicks.

You do realize that without checkboxes it takes X number of clicks to sell (equal to the types of minerals a player is selling) while a checkbox system takes X+1 clicks (one for each checkbox and 1 more for the 'sell all' button) So you are clicking less the way it is now.

I'm sure the server would disagree

I know what he's saying, and I actually agree with him. (But I'm still very happy with this new change.) It's not clicks we save, as much as loading time. The old way meant typing + click + load. Now it's just click + load.
